Today I have some newly released ufo documents for you to read. They are from the MOD (Ministry of Defence) in Britain and have been released under their Freedom of Information Act. This year (2007) on the 23rd of April, two commercial airline pilots saw a huge ufo over the Channel Islands. One pilot described the ufo as almost a mile wide. A second object was also observed. He was convinced that this was an extraterrestrial craft. The Ministry of Defence has released a file that they have compiled on the event. The Cosford Incident is another interesting ufo event. In 1993, there were a series of ufo sightings in the UK that involved over a hundred witnesses. A ufo flew over several RAF bases. The craft was seen by many in the military and estimated to be about 200 meters across. It was said to be triangular. The UFO was seen by a patrol of RAF Police based at RAF Cosford. They saw two white lights with a faint red glow at the rear, with no engine noise being heard. The RAF Police report also contained details of a number of civilian UFO sightings that they had been made aware of, in the course of making enquiries with other military bases, civil airports and local police. Later the ufo was seen over RAF Shawbury. A meteorological Officer there saw a beam of light come from the craft and said that it traced the ground in an unnatural way. Tapes of the radar sightings turned out to be inconclusive. Cosmos 2238 had unfortunately, reentered the atmosphere that same night, and some of the inexperienced civilian sightings might have been of this Russian satellite. The following paragraph is from the Nick Pope Website. Intriguingly, even the cluster of 1.10 am sightings might not all be explained by the Cosmos 2238 re-entry. The skeptics were torpedoed by Professor Ian Morrison, Director of the Jodrell Bank Observatory (and hardly a believer in UFOs!), who in speaking about these sightings on "The British UFO Mystery" said "Sometimes people see a pattern of lights that stay pretty much in formation for maybe several minutes at a time and to be honest, I don't believe that can be the break up of space junk or anything else. Those things are short-lived and they all leave streaks, and the relative positions may well change as they travel". The Cosford Incident Below are various documents that show how the MOD answered some of the requests for information: From Left to Right Remote viewing - This was a project that was said to have taken place in the U.S. and Soviet Union and much later in Britain. People were selected that were perceptive and then trained to detect information from anywhere in the world, while they were seated in a room. Supposedly the U.S., using remote viewers, was able to detect where the American hostages in Iran were located when our embassy was taken over. Remote Viewing Documents Finally, we have lists by year of the U.K. ufo sightings and where they occurred: U.K. UFO Sightings 1998 - 2006 |
