Sometimes things happen to people that just can't be explained. A lot of times these things are interesting to say the least, but when they happen to astronauts, they become even more interesting to me. I wonder if you people out there feel the same way? I decided to look into some of these things since they have peaked my interest. Most of them entail astronauts seeing ufos.

Before Apollo, there were the Mercury and Gemini missions. John Glenn is said to have taken a famous photo of a ufo and it can be seen on different sites on the internet. Is it authentic? I have no way of knowing, but there are so many ufo photos out there that were taken by astronauts, that I would have to assume it is certainly possible, although Glenn would never admit it. Gordon Cooper was another astronaut that started out in the Mercury Program. He claimed to have seen a ufo in 1951 and claimed that several times during his career he had seen other ufos. Cooper was said to have stated that he knew for a fact that there were hundreds of other ufo sightings by other pilots. He had felt that there was a government cover up on the subject.

In 1965 two astronauts, Borman and Lovell on Gemini 7, called mission control to report a Bogey. They were asked if it could be the booster. They replied that they had several and it looked like debris. They stated that they could also see the booster. What was it that they were seeing? Gemini 11 also saw something strange in 1966. Astronauts Conrad and Gordon watched an object that seemed to be watching them. It came very close to their capsule and they must have gotten a very good look at it. A photo was taken that remains unidentified.

A strange thing happened on the flight of Apollo 11. As the capsule went dark and it coasted across the Earth, faint flashes of light were observed. These flashes were visible even when the astronauts had their eyes closed. Scientists were puzzled and questioned crews of future Apollo flights on the phenomena and they also reported the same thing. It was important that the astronaut's eyes had become adopted to the darkness, because if they didn't, the flashes were not visible. The flashes all seemed to be white, but one astronaut described one flash as blue and one other astronaut never saw the flashes at all. Several explanations were made about what could have caused the flashes, but nothing was agreed upon.

When we sent Apollo 11 toward the moon and the first landing by humans, what was bothering the astronauts aboard? Could it have been the fact that they were being followed? A British documentary says just that. It states that Buzz Aldrin along with his fellow astronauts Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins were watching a ufo trail them. It goes on to state that the astronauts were afraid if they said anything that the mission might be scrubbed. Did NASA know that Apollo 11 was not making the trip alone? Could it have been that we had a more advanced craft from a secret air force program follow them? Could they have been followed by extraterrestrials? I guess that any of these things could be true. I have talked about the possibility of a secret air force space program and I still believe it to be true. I wish that I had some proof of this, but the government is very good at keeping these types of secrets.

Joseph Stewart states that he was told that some of the Apollo landing sites were chosen for a particular reason. These were areas of activity on the moon. The word activity was not explained.

Apollo 16 astronauts were sure that they saw a ufo and they had the video to prove it. This video has been talked about for years and is used as evidence for the existence of ufos. In 2004 the video was analyzed by NASA. After it was analyzed, it was said to actually be a reflection of the lighting boom. It is funny, but the boom is a lot clearer on this frame than I have ever seen it anywhere else and almost makes it look ridiculous that anyone ever thought it was otherwise. Why all of a sudden, is it so clear? Here is the thing that really bothers me, the boom was never visible in any other frame that I saw, now you can even see it in this small frame and it is extremely clear on the larger photo you get when you click on the upper one.

The above photo is supposedly a NASA photograph AS14-70-9836/37 from Apollo 14, I have done a cursory search of the NASA web site and I do not find any photograph of this number available, but this has happened to me in the past when photos have been withdrawn by NASA. I obtained this photograph from one of the many web sites that claim it as a NASA photograph. Could this be a NASA photograph taken by the astronauts of Apollo 14 and later deleted from the NASA site? One never knows. It is said that a well known NASA scientist has said that not every discovery has been announced to the public. I believe this to be the understatement of the century.

When we get to Apollo 16, it is said that the astronauts described seeing domes and structures. Along with this construction they are said to have observed tunnels. It is said that a transmission between mission control and Charles Duke was intercepted and it was found that he also used code to describe what he saw. Duke: Right out here ... the blue one that I described from the lunar module window is colored because it is glass coated, but underneath the glass it is crystalline. He goes on to say, Boy, I tell you, these EMUs and PLSSs are really super- fantastic!. So what did he mean? PLSS usually means Portable Life Support System in NASA terms. Was Duke talking about structures that were enclosed with life support systems or domes? EMUs could refer to a supposed secret Air Force operation named Operation EMU. Not much is known about this except that it was some sort of training experiment to prepare astronauts for deep space. It is said that during this operation, a Hollywood film crew that was under contract to NASA disappeared in Nevada. A B movie was supposedly made with a similar name that was a space satire. Was it made to cover up what really happened? Some say the real Operation EMU was a training mission to prepare astronauts for alien contact. If that is true than we might be able to decipher the message as saying that there are many buildings that have life support systems around them and many aliens.

There are people that believe that one of the experiments to determine the density of the moon proved that it was completely hollow. They claim that the test showed that it was like a hollow metal shell with soil over it. We have no way of knowing if they are right or how they know this, but it is an interesting topic. Can you imagine a race so powerful that they could construct a moon sized satellite. Another theory might be that they arrived here millions of years ago, put their giant spaceship into orbit and then covered that with some sort of soil or dust and we think of it as a natural satellite. This seems pretty far out, doesn't it?

Some theories get way out there, but there is no denying the fact that many of our astronauts have seen ufos. They are still mostly unexplained and even some of the explanations that we are given don't seem to hold water. Are there ufos out there? Let me answer that this way, there is certainly something out there and it seems to be watching us. The government can make up stories all it likes, but there are just too many well respected people that have seen these things. Sure some of them could have mistaken air craft for ufos, there is no doubt of that, but there are some sightings where there can be no mistake. These are ones where a ufo comes down low, real low and sometimes right over the head of a person. I personally know of a family that was scared almost out of its wits when a giant circular ufo came down to about twenty feet over their upstate New York State house and remained there for a few minutes. They described the object as way bigger than their home and casting a shadow that was so intense that it put their house in complete darkness. Believe me, these people had no reason to lie and were scared.
