Man In Black

Everyone has heard of secret police. Through out history many countries have employed a police force of people who dressed the same as the common man and were indistinguishable from anyone else on the street. Usually these forces have extraordinary police powers and sometimes they have the power to snatch someone without being accountable for their actions. There are many cases of torture being administered by secret police and grave acts of cruelty. Even though it is said that we have become more civilized, the use of secret police doesn't seem to have diminished in many parts of the world.

In World War II, the Gestapo was the feared German secret police force. Their acts of terror are well known through out the world. After the war ended and the Communists took over Germany, we then had the Stasi or East German secret police. Besides being cruel, they were highly regarded as one of the best intelligence gathering institutions in the world. An interesting aside is the fact that when the East German Communist Regime collapsed in 1989, they had so many documents that they wanted to shred, their shredders broke down under the load and they were forced to try and tear the documents apart by hand.

The Iraqi Regime had the Mukhabarat. They would pick up people for torture, imprisonment or execution. When the Regime fell, the secret police scattered. According to the News.telegraph the CIA has decided to form another Iraqi secret police force to fight terrorism. They go on to cite the fact that the cost may be as high as 3 billion dollars for three years. Will such a force be able to clamp down on the terrorists or will it terrorize the population? Let's hope it will be an asset to the Iraqi people.

Now let's get to this country. Have you ever heard of the men in black? I am sure you must have. They are usually connected with ufo sightings but are also said to have appeared when secret projects were involved. There have even been reports of these men flying around in black helicopters. Are the men in black some sort of U.S. secret police?

MIB

Let's start by pointing to another name that the men in black are known by, it is MIB. I don't think you could call them secret police because, if they exist, they are very specialized. It seems that their job is to intimidate people who want to report ufos or speak about projects that might involve ufo or space related discoveries. They do intimidate but I have never heard of any torture being administered by them. They are called men in black because they usually wear black suits and black coats which seem to be a little unusual since the material seems to be on the shinny side. Their behavior seems to be strange since it is very emotionless. The suggestion here is that these men have been brain washed or are aliens.

There have been a lot of strange reports about the MIB and one that is really strange states that they all look alike. Another strange report states that they travel alone or in threes. Their usual mode of transportation are large black SUVs or luxury cars. Helicopters are also used that are painted black. Witnesses state that the helicopters have tinted windows so that you can't see inside.

It's hard to believe that MIBs exist, but many people have come forth to state how they were pressured into keeping quiet about things that they have seen. So how long have these men in black been around? It is said that they first appeared on September in 1953. An organization had been formed for the study of flying saucers. It was an international flying saucer bureau. The head of the bureau sent some data to a friend that he stated showed where the origin of the saucers was. Not too much later he claims that he was visited by three MIBs. One of the MIBs had his letter. The bureau head stated that the MIBs told him he was correct in his theories but threatened him and he became very ill for several days. He stated that they told him that when the truth was known, everything would change and science, as we know it, would suffer.

I guess we can say that we know that the secret police of other nations existed for sure, but no one can prove that MIBs actually exist. Even if they did, they would have to be classified as ufo police or saucer police, not secret police.
