Here we are again with another ufo update. UFO activity seems to be picking up from the last update. Lets check out some of the things that are going on.

In Australia a mysterious object has been seen drifting over the Midland Highway. In order to ascertain if the object was any type of plane, helicopter or blimp, a check was made of all the airports and defense facilities and they all denied having anything in the air in that area. Even crop dusters were checked. UFO organizations claim that this sighting falls into that mysterious 5% of sightings that just can not be explained. This sighting started out as a bright light that was heading toward the observer. The object was described as being about half as large as a house and having a red pulsating light on one side and a blue pulsating light on the other side. As it got closer, it hovered about 30 meters about the observer, who stated that it was shaped like a saucer.

Here is one of the strangest ufo sightings in recorded history. It took place in India. A camera in a laboratory caught something, something very strange. The camera is used to record chemical compositions of different compounds. The camera picks up the chemical signature and creates a 3d image. This chemical compound imaging camera had taken a picture of a miniature ufo. An adjacent infra Red camera showed nothing in its photos. Are their tiny ufos all around us and we never realized it? Scientists are now investigating this theory. Since these craft produce no heat, infra Red cameras can not pick them up. Scientists say that they could tell that the ufo detected the camera by the way it moved when photographed.

UFO sightings in Canada have picked up. Last year 882 sightings were reported and who knows how many weren't? That is over 30% more than the year before. One of these sightings was of a large dark triangular craft moving slowly across the sky. This is the same type of craft that has been reported in many other locations. UFO experts say that 7% of all sightings in Canada are unexplainable. This falls in line with the generally accepted figure of about 5% worldwide.

The former Soviet Union had been working on a saucer shaped craft when it dissolved. The Soviet Union dissolved not the craft. As a matter of fact the craft lay in storage because its funding had dried up. Development began on the craft in the late 1970s. In 1988 test flights began. I am sure this led to many ufo sightings. Rumors are that the craft is essentially an aircraft but with unique features, such as being able to take off from any surface using an air cushion. The Russians are saying that the Americans also tried to build a saucer but failed. There are also rumors of joint Russian American projects involving the same company that built the saucer.

Michigan is getting its share of ufo sightings. Sometimes the sightings run to more than 50 in a year. But New Mexico has it beat. There are more sightings in New Mexico than any other state in the union.

A Massachusetts Mutual UFO Network investigator was sent out to investigate a sighting on December 12, 2004, over Ballencia. On December 29, 2004 the object was sighted again. The object would blink out and then blink on. It also made several fast 90 degree turns, eliminating it from being an aircraft since no aircraft is capable of this.

The Ministry of Defense has released statistics showing that there were 91 ufo observations recorded in Great Britain last year. Papers just released under the British Freedom of Information Act show that the government conducted hearings in 1951 to investigate the existence of ufos and aliens, but the sightings were all dismissed even though many were by RAF personnel. Some of the sightings over Britain include the traditional black triangular ufo that was seen over Peterborough near Wisbech in 1997. There were strange lights in the sky over Heaton Close in 1995 and two black shimmering discs that floated above Millfield in 1997, just to mention a few.

Many ufo reports are really just ignored, not by the private ufo agencies, but by the government. One can't help but think about all those astronaut sightings that were reported. These people were such credible witnesses. I mean, after all, look who was reporting seeing ufos. There were people like Major Gordon Cooper, who said "For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists in astronautics. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us." Donald Slayton said ".... But as soon as I got behind the darn thing it didn't look like a balloon anymore. It looked like a saucer, a disk....". Frank Borman said he saw a ufo near his Gemini capsule as did James Lovell his crew mate. Neil Armstrong has said he saw ufos as did Edwin "Buzz' Aldrin when they landed on the moon. These are only a few of the sightings.
