German Saucers Continued

We have talked about Nazi ufos before, but from time to time I find new information to add to our investigation of them. I have no way to verify this information but I publish it here for what ever value it has. The information is usually interesting (I hope) so here is some more information that I retrieved from the internet on the subject.

According to this information the occult was somehow intertwined with the Nazis and a group called the Thule Gesellschaft was formed in 1918. Hitler became a junior member of this organization. When he became the Reichsfuhrer he pushed the organizations goals forward. These goals were occult goals. It is said that somehow the Thule Gesellschaft made contact with aliens. (I must admit I find it hard to keep a straight face while typing this) By aliens I mean extraterrestrials. There were given plans not only for a saucer but also a time machine. A Dr. W. O. Schumann from Munchen Technical University worked on the time machine for three years.

The saucer was first flown in June, 1934 by a pilot named Lothar Waiz. It was manufactured by the famous plane maker, Arado in Brandenburg. It was the model RFZ1. It was very hard to control but got into the air but flopped around. The pilot was able to land it but had to run away from it as it jumped all over the ground until it destroyed itself. A second saucer was built in 1934, model RFZ 2 and it had a new control system. Later models were made and they were capable of flying long distances but it lacked maneuverability. In 1942 the Vril-1 was built by Jaeger and could break the sound barrier and was more maneuverable than any plane and was capable of exiting Earth's atmosphere. It had some sort of magnetic drive. The Nazis also tried their hand at building jet powered saucers. Next they built a saucer that had both systems, magnetic and jet. It was the RFZ 7. This was the model that the Nazis wanted to carry their new atomic bomb if they could develop it. There was a RFZ5 also know as the Haunebu I that had a combination magnetic motor and tachyon converter invented by Hans Coler. It had a problem flying at high altitudes.

In 1942 a much larger saucer was created that could carry up to 20 people. It was the Haunebu II. It could fly faster than sound and stay aloft for over 55 hours. A Haunebu III had been constructed that could carry 32 people and stay aloft for 24 hours. Supposedly the Nazis had a small saucer called the Schildtkrote that was sent up to interfere with the electrical systems of the allied planes, but it didn't work. It was claimed that one of these saucers actually flew to Mars in 1944.

There is a report that appeared in the German magazine Flugzeug in 1989 in which a German official stated that he saw a saucer in a hanger at an air demonstration at Praha-Kbely aerodrome in Czechoslovakia, now known PragGbell aerodrome, in 1943. He claims it was in the hanger at the C14 Flight School. He said it was a disk that had a diameter of five to six meters and had a large central area. He said it stood slightly lower than the average man and seemed to be made of aluminum. Later on when he was outside he said he and several other people watch as the machine was brought out of the hanger and its engines were started. He stated that the saucer began to rise and rotate. It cruised at a few feet and went along for about 300 meters then had a rough landing. A second flight was made and it flew for the length of the airstrip before landing.

It would seem to me that the Nazis were working on a vehicle that was circular but might have been the prototype for a more efficient jet bomber. Some of the problems I have with the story are:

1. If they have a magnetic engine why would they convert to a jet engine or add a jet engine?
2. If they had interplanetary travel then why didn't they just bomb us from space, we could not have done anything to prevent it?
3. If they were sending up small saucers and to disrupt electronics and they didn't work, then why keep doing it?

There are many other reasons that one has to doubt this story, not the least of them the alien contact and the Mars flight. But I do know for a fact that in the 1930s there was a lot of research going on with circular winger aircraft, both in the U.S. and in Germany. It is possible that new types of circular winged aircraft were developed in Germany which were captured at the end of the war and kept secret.
