Mare Crisium is a crater on the moon. It is a large crater that is now at the center of a raging controversy. Some astronomers believe that there are certain things in this crater that prove that there are alien bases on the lunar surface. One of the things that they say exists there is a bridge that is about 12-15 miles long. Another object is a very high tower. These are not the only abnormalities said to exist on the moon either. It is said that there are strange lights in some of the craters and that there is even a transparent dome over one of the smaller craters just to mention a few objects. It has been said that buildings resembling huts have been spotted. The strange lights that appear in some of the craters from time to time have been seen for hundreds of years by Earth telescopes even before travel to the moon began.

The year was 1953. John J. O'Neill was the former science editor of the old Herald Tribune a newspaper that was very popular in New York. He was observing the moon on an extremely clear night and while he was looking around, he trained his scope on the Mare Crisium crater. Almost at once he received a start. He saw a bridge and he saw it very clearly. When he reported it to the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers he was ridiculed. but a famous British astronomer Dr. H.P. Wilkens stated that he had also seen it. That is how it all started. Other astronomers began to see it. The strange thing is that before 1953 it had never been seen. How could a natural object of this size have escaped detection? Was it a 'man made object' that had just been erected?

Supposedly Ranger 6, a moon probe took pictures of Mare Crisium crater and these were said to show the bridge and an object at its end along with the shadow from the bridge. In truth I was not able to find a convincing photo of the bridge but that is nothing new when dealing with NASA. Many of the pictures of the region seem to be smudged in the area of the bridge. This sort of reminds me of the face on Mars where the follow up photos were all incomplete leaving out 240 of the 256 shades of gray needed to complete the photograph. This is not to say that photos do not exist however. Don Ecker claims to have clear photos are NASA photos that were never released to the public. Mr. Ecker is the chief researcher for UFO Magazine. He has been researching the bridge since 1992. He had met Mr. Jim Silva when he had him on his radio show and Mr. Silva had the photographs and showed them to him. Ecker believes that NASA knew about the structure before it ever sent men to the moon. He bases this opinion on the many professional astronomers that have reported seeing strange structures and lights on the moon. He stated that he was sent a very clear photo of the bridge and the object beneath it by James Silva and indicated that the bridge was very clear and he recognized it as bridge and a wall. He even went on to state that he got Alan Shepard to sign it and after he did, he asked him if he recognized it. He indicated that when Shepard looked at it again he got very upset and left.

I have no way of verifying that any of this information is correct but I cite it because it is interesting.

So the question is does a bridge exist on the moon? If a bridge does exist then who built it? There are so many crazy theories on the internet that we could answer that question a million different ways. Some say that the NAZIs built saucers and a few escaped and built bases on the moon. Others say we have been going there for many years and the space program was only a cover for the real military program that was much more advanced. But one group, perhaps the largest, thinks that aliens are visiting the Earth in ufos and are using the moon as a base. If aliens were indeed visiting the Earth, than a moon base would make sense. To fortify their argument they state that the Apollo Moon Program never finished the remaining missions even though the rockets were ready, the program was paid for and the astronauts were waiting to go. They say we were warned to stay away and that is why we never went back.

Not everyone believes in the Mare Crisium crater bridge. Many think it is just a natural phenomenon and NASA scientists and astronomers, not surprisingly, laugh at the fact that anyone would think that a bridge would exist on the moon.

Remote viewing has been used to look at the moon. Remote viewing was a program conducted by the governments both here and in the former Soviet Union where gifted people could see any location by thinking about it. Ingo Swann a remote viewer stated that when he applied remote viewing to the moon he discovered a moon that was completely different than the moon we think of. He said that he saw a thin atmosphere, men working under bright lights, tall buildings and strange machines.
