One of my favorite shows on tv is Stargate. Imagine if it were possible to move between different worlds in the blink of an eye in just your regular clothes. That is what happens ever week on the SciFi Channel. But you could imagine my surprise when I found out that there are some people that believe that some sort of stargate really exists. These people claim that they are not making wild statements but have proof to back up their beliefs.

There is a mysterious building in Peru. It is a giant stone sculpture at Aramu Muru, and is located just north of Chucito. This structure contains a huge structure within that seems to be a door. The local indians believe that this is the home of the gods. Many rock formations in this area resemble buildings. This door is carved from the rock and is 7 meters high and 7 meters wide. There is an alcove at the bottom of the door which is about 2 meters high. It is said that a Mr Mamani came across the structure and was startled. He had been having dreams of the exact same building only in his dream the little alcove was open and a shimmering blue light was coming from it. He claims he could see a tunnel of light coming from inside the alcove. He stated that he had been telling his family about his dreams for quite some time before he discovered this building. The area is full of legends of people who passed through the gate and of a few that returned. It is said that when the Spanish Conquistadors were looting from the Incas, a priest fled from his temple with a sacred gold disk and this disk was known as 'The Key Of The Gods Of The Seven Rays'. It is said that this disk controlled the opening of a portal that revealed the tunnel of light behind the alcove and that the priest went into this tunnel and was never seen again. There is a small cut out in the rock on the right side of the doorway where a small disk might fit.

Another stargate that is said to exist is controlled by the government. Supposedly it is smaller than the one pictured on tv, but works nearly the same way. It is said it was found in Mexico and the references are not to Egyptian Gods but to Mayan Gods. Supposedly it was left for us by the Atlantians who wanted us to discover it so that we might better realize where we came from and our destiny. It is believed that teams of people are actually going through the gate to off world destinations. It is not clear what happened to the Atlantians, did they all go through the gate to greener pastures? The story states that they left. But if all this is true then why would a story be put on tv that is so close to the real thing? It supposedly was done on purpose for deniability.

There is also something called the real stargate. It was discovered and named by Mark Roberts in 1991. It is an ancient cave that contains a painting of a portal into the cosmos. It seems to indicate that knowledge of star constellations and ancient writings are the key to operating the stargate. The cave contains the most ancient portrayal of the Pleiades.

There is another theory out there. It is said that a german scuba diver has discovered a place in the ocean near Bermuda when there is a large flux in the magnate field. The theory states that this occurs when a device such as a stargate is used. It is suggested that the sheer power of such a device would be enough to cause this. This area is being referred to as an underwater area 51.

Is a real stargate possible? Well it seems that worm holes most likely exist. Whether a device to break down a human body, shoot its atoms through a worm hole and reassemble them is possible to build, it wouldn't surprise me. While we don't have the technology now, we are starting to acquire it. It has been claimed that a simple non living thing has been disassembled and reassembled a few feet away but I have no way to verify the truth of this statement. Even so, we are living in an age of wonders where almost anything is or will become possible. Is it so far fetched to imagine that in a hundred years or more that people will be able to travel anywhere in the world instantly, or to other worlds the same way? When Jules Verne wrote about his great submarine and everyone was aghast, he was only off by about 100 years until we had atomic powered subs.

Is it possible that a project such as a stargate could exist with people having knowledge of it, sure? Just look at the secret airplane projects that have been hidden over the years. The stealth fighters and stealth bombers are a good indication of how the government can hide a project.
