Orange orbs are in the news again. They seem to be spotted as much as the black triangles are now. A woman saw one in England this month. The object was above Flintshire. This area seems to be getting a lot of these objects lately. Five of these orbs were spotted in the area on Christmas day. The descriptions, by both witnesses, proved that the objects that they saw looked the same. The woman stated that she was at home, just watching television, when out of the corner of her eye, she spotted the object. Everyone that sees these things thinks that they look like a ball of fire. It was described as three or four meters wide and ascending in a circular motion. The lady went outside and watched it for about fifteen minutes, until it got so small that it looked like a star. She said that it made no noise. Similar sightings were reported in Mold, Chester, Sandycroft and Broughton.

An aerospace engineer, from the University of Florida, has gotten NASA and the Air Force in a tizzy. He has come up with an invention that has really peaked the interest of these two agencies, among others. The vehicle is shaped like a flying saucer and the inventor has named it a "winged electromagnetic air vehicle". There is only a small model of it built right now, it is less than about six inches across, but that was more than big enough to get everyone interested. The inventor has stated that this vehicle could easily be scaled up to full size and used on missions of atmospheric surveillance. That S word was enough. If you use the words, surveillance, spy, or covert, you are bound to get an audience. The thing that got everyone interested is the propulsion system. It is powered by magneto hydrodynamics. The vehicle is called WEAV for short and would be able to lift vertically and hover. It was described by the inventor as a combination of a saucer and helicopter. The vehicle would be capable of, what is known as, part-less flight. There would be no motor in the conventional sense of the word. Instead plasma would be formed, which in turn would cause the air surrounding the craft to be pushed around the craft and thus making it go. There have been reports on other types of vehicles coming to light, since last year, that are attempting to use the same type of propulsion, or something similar.

Something very strange has happened this month in Romania. A Romanian jet interceptor has reported hitting a ufo. The plane was a Mig-21 and the cockpit of the jet was shattered. The Romanians have conducted a thorough investigation and have ruled out all the normal types of objects that might strike a plane, such as birds, meteorites and such, including chunks of ice. The officials involved in the investigation stated that they could say what didn't hit the plane, but they had no way of saying what did. The plane was above the infamous Transylvania and the collision happened in only 67 milliseconds. It was recorded by an in-flight video camera. The pilot, Marin Mitrica managed to land the plane safely and was only slightly injured. The incident is now being investigated again by the Security Committee of European Air Forces.

Well, we haven't heard the last about that ufo that exploded over Vietnam. Remember that last month I told you about an unidentified object that exploded over an island belonging to that country? There is more news on the subject and it seems to be mixed and partially unclear. I have read several articles about this, that claim that the wreckage was studied and it is some sort of biological wreckage. One theory is that this ship, or whatever it was, is capable of doing recon without anyone being in it, in other words, a ship that can think. Shades of Battlestar Galactia. The second part of the story is that metal parts have fallen from the sky after the explosion and some are engraved with symbols that are similar to those that were found on wreckage in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania, when a ufo crashed there.

It has happened again. There has been a sighting of a ufo near O'Hare Airport. Not only that, but the object that was observed was said to look just about the same. Could it have been the same ufo, back for a second look? Maybe, but it is hard to tell. It is like saying, is one plane of the same type, the same plane that you saw before. Unless you know the different numbers, how could you tell? Apparently more than one object was observed. One was the shape of a boomerang, which appeared and then disappeared. About 15 minutes later, the disc shaped ufo appeared and it was only about three miles from the airport. A witness has stated that he believes that ufos are appearing at regular intervals in the area, but they don't stay long and that is why he believes that they are not being reported, they just sort of fly by.

A ufo has been spotted in the sky above a suburb of London, in England. The object was in the sky over Wanstead and Woodford and has the residents thinking about alien craft. At first five lights were seen in the sky, then they started going out, one at a time. After they went out, a dark object could be seen descending. The ufo was seen by many different people. Some witnesses stated that it couldn't have been a plane, or a balloon, because it remained stationary for quite some time. Sightings have been made in this area that have gone back over quite a few years. Apparently a ufo was seen near the statue of Winston Churchill in Woodford Green, last February. It got so bad that the Ministry of Defence had to call for calm. This was because strange beings were reported near the statue.

When secret Government files were opened last month, many stories emerged such as the tale of two little boys who were terrified back in 1970, when they saw a pair of strange lights in the skies over Wanstead. London UFO studies group chairman Roy Lake said north-east London was notorious for UFO activity.

A ufo was spotted in Southhampton, in England, in early June. It was a dark triangle type. Cube shaped objects were also seen. Several witnesses have come forward and submitted photographs and video to the newspapers. On June 1 of this year, a witness took a video of the object. The witness also stated that it could not have been a kite, because there was no wind to keep it up and it was huge. "It looked very much like a hovering stealth fighter but it made no noise, having worked at Heathrow Airport and lived at Farnborough in my time, I am no stranger to aircraft but this object looked liked nothing I have seen before." Three weeks ago a photo of an almost identical craft was taken.

A ufo was seen over route 95, in Newbury, Massachusetts. Two men were present and one stated that he never expected to see anything like this in his life. "I was driving my nephew James to school at Triton to pick up some paperwork. Then we both looked up and saw this silver, illuminated saucer flying through the air, it changed shape into a cylinder and left a trail of smoke and then it snuffed out like a candle."
