Government Projects Relating to UFOs and Aliens

The facts in this article are not necessarily believed to be true by the author, but may or may not be correct.

The government has had many secret projects over the years and some that were not so secret. Our government, that is the U.S. Government, pretends not to be interested in ufos, yet they are always studying them. By the nature of ufos, the government would have to be interested in them. Why is this true? The truth is that even if there were a minute chance that ufos could be genuine alien space machines, the government couldn't take the chance of not trying to obtain this technology because there are many other governments that might be trying to get it.

In the early 1950s, as most of us know, the Air Force announced project Bluebook. As it looks from our perspective today, Bluebook was conceived to convince us the ufos DIDN'T exits. But was Bluebook the only ufo study, if we can call it that? The answer is a resounding NO. Bluebook was the cover up for the real study called Project Moondust, or Moon Dust, I'm not sure if it was one word or two. It seems that Moondust came to life in 1953 though most people were never aware of it. The project's official agenda was the recovery of communist space craft of all kinds, but today many think they were also looking for ufos and much of the useful data obtained from Bluebook, that the public never heard of, was used by Moondust. The data from Bluebook that the public did hear about tended to ridicule all those who confessed to having a sighting.

Project Bluefly was a project that was to be used in conjunction with Project Moondust. Its purpose was to dispatch teams that would provide quick recovery and removal of objects. Some say that these teams were combat ready and they were under orders to retrieve communist space paraphernalia or alien ufos at any cost. There are tales that state these teams recovered not only ufos but aliens that were both dead and alive.

Is it possible that such teams could have existed without the knowledge of the general public? Just look at how long the stealth fighter was secret before being shown and I think you will have the answer to that question. I believe that the amount of material that is being kept from the American public is growing every year. The government certainly needs some secrets but the scale of these secrets has gotten out of hand.

Did we just have Project Bluebook and Bluefly in the early 1950s, you would think that they were enough? No it looks like we had many other projects going at the same time. We were compartmentalizing the ufo problem into smaller pieces. Project Aquarius dealt with alien life forms. It was part of Project Sign for awhile but when Sign closed it kept going. Its mission was to get information from alien contacts, sightings and intelligence. But Project Sign had at least one other component and that was Project Sigma.

It is said that the purpose of Project Sigma was to establish communications with aliens and that we succeeded in 1959 using binary numbers. The story goes that the Air Force sent officers to New Mexico, where they met with the aliens and established communications after many hours. Supposedly we found out that not only were aliens observing the earth but there were three basic characteristics of aliens. These characteristics were Helpful, Neutral and Dangerous. This could be used to classify humans as well as I believe we all fit into one of these categories.

Now comes the interesting part. Would you believe that our government would let aliens take some of our bodily fluids as food? Project Plato's mission was to establish diplomatic relations with the alien races that were observing earth. We allowed some aliens to abduct humans for the purpose of getting fluids for food. In turn these aliens would furnish a list of those abducted.

Project Redlight was established in 1954 with the mission of testing and learning how to fly recovered alien craft. Apparently we had a few recovered craft but every time we would try and fly them they would explode. Every human test pilot died. The project was cancelled after nine years. I do not understand why such advanced aliens would let these craft fall into the hands of humans? I have always had trouble with that one. Well be that as it may, Project Snowbird was established to continue this testing.

Another idea that has been advanced, is that some of these ufos were actually built by us. Could the Rendlesham ufo incident actually be a test, by us, of a top secret flying machine? When we examine some of these stories we have to notice something strange, that is the fact that some ufos seem to give off radiation while others don't. Why is this? Could it be that we are using a primitive nuclear power source because we can't master the reproduction of an alien one?

Some people would have you think we are developing a special weapon to destroy alien underground bases. They also say we attacked one of these bases and suffered badly. The cause of the disagreement was that the aliens were abducting too many humans and also not forthcoming with the lists spoken about previously. The development of the weapon is under Project Excalibur. This device seems to be a nuclear bunker buster and it is common knowledge that we are indeed working on one now but in 1972 when Excalibur was started this was unheard of. Are the aliens the real enemy?

Under the Freedom of Information Act, documents referring to some of these projects, if not all, have been recovered.
