Sightings in the UK kept up during the month of September. People living in Cheltenham saw strange orange lights flying over their homes. The sightings were strange not only for what was seen, but also for the fact that the objects flew in pairs. Someone had said they were probably party lanterns, but their movement proved to be anything but. Similar lights were seen over Banbury on September 1st. Seven witnesses saw orange lights flying in a formation of about 15 objects. The lights also appeared over Epson on 7 September. Earlier a group of ufos were spotted over Essex, just north east of London, on the 25th and 26th of August. The group was huge and composed of an estimated 700 objects. It also sailed over the Netherlands the next day. Can you imagine seeing about 700 ufos at once? A ufo was sighted in September at Harlow. The object was gray and it was seen against the night sky at around 12.30 AM. Witnesses said that it was silent and only up a few hundred feet. It was slowly drifting across the sky. There were no lights visible. It had a dark patch on each side of the lower half.

Fireworks were seen at the Telus World of Science in Edmonton, Canada. I am not talking about the type that contain gun power, but the type you get when people butt heads. Stanton Friedman was a featured speaker at the conference. He stated some of his beliefs that people are scared of ridicule and don't report many ufo sightings. He went on to say that scientists often make too many assumptions based on limited information. Some scientists took exception to some of Mr. Friedman's statements. A hot time was had by all.

What exploded in a village in the Andes last month? Some say it was a meteorite, but others wonder. Since the explosion and resulting fireball, a mysterious illness seems to have broken out in the area. The villagers are convinced that an airplane crashed there, but some think that it may have been a ufo. The villagers claim that there is a strange odor there and say that they are getting headaches and are throwing up. Whatever the object was, it left a crater that was about 10 meters wide and 5 meters deep. Other health related problems from the crash seem to be digestive problems, nausea and a feeling of un wellness. When health officials and police came to the area, several of them required oxygen and became dehydrated. One expert stated that a fallen meteor is not harmful except if it falls on you. That was not exactly a helpful statement.

The Irish Defence Ministry has release their ufo information, following the lead of many other countries. The sightings go back to 1947. One can't help but wonder if we are getting all the available information from these countries or only that which they wish to release? What was it that crashed in Kodiak, Alaska in September? The whole thing is very mysterious. Several witnesses saw an extremely bright light crash into the Earth. No planes were reported missing and neither were any satellites. The Coast Guard went over the area at various heights with a helicopter and could not find any impact crater. The State Troopers called the space agency. We don't know what crashed or even if there was ultimately a crash.

Some strange Australian ufo sightings have been recorded. In early September a meteor like object that was on fire was reported by several witnesses. It couldn't have been a meteor since it was not coming down from the sky, but rising. Another object of the same type was seen 5 minutes later heading the same way, which was climbing into the sky and turning left. Other witnesses saw similar objects during the same night. The objects were reported as being silent as they made their ascent. The sightings were in the Sidney area.

A strange light was seen in New Mexico. A person was taking photos of land formations and they saw a strange light in the sky. The sun had just gone down and the object was thought to be a weather balloon at first. As the sky got darker, the object began to turn a reddish color. Several different people saw the object. A passenger on a flight between Canada and the US saw more than he bargained for while looking out of a window. He states that the plane had broken through the cloud cover and he could see a huge depression in the clouds near the horizon. In that depression he first saw a light, then the shape of a massive metallic disc. The disc was illuminated by direct sunlight. While he was watching the disc, a smaller disc appeared, then a second. Both smaller discs seemed to be made of metal. As the airliner flew by the objects in the distance, the witness noticed that one of the small discs was actually egg shaped. The witness went to the bathroom and when he returned he saw a third small disc flying around in the same area. A fifth object became visible at a much higher altitude and to the right. He estimates its height at about 30,000 feet or twice that of the other ufos. A faint contrail was visible behind the object, which dropped down and followed the plane. The object then broke away from the plane and the underside became visible as it soared away. It was black and egg shaped.

A cylindrical object was spotted over Cadillac, Michigan on August 27. The time was about 8:30 p.m. A photographer was snapping photos of the sky and planes, when he noticed a strange object there. The object made no sound and gave off no trail. It wasn't a blimp because it had no cabin. He took several photos of the object and ran inside to get his family. They all came running out, but it was too late, the object had disappeared. He hadn't noticed that there were other objects in the sky, 3 others to be exact, because they were dark, but the camera noticed them. Because of this, a relative decided to zoom in on some photos she took in the same area last year and behold, there were the dark ufos.

A ufo was seen flying over Egypt on September 13th. It was videotaped. What made the object so strange was that not only was it a ufo, it was shaped like a pyramid. Another ufo appeared over Lake Erie on 9-18 September. It is hard to tell if it is one huge object or several since we only see lights and one blinks on and off. A woman in Harfield, UK got the fright of her life when she opened her window to get a better look at a hovering light. She thought that it was a plane with wingtip lights. The craft was hovering outside and then it began to come closer and closer to the house. The residents ran for their lives down the stairs, but the object disappeared. There was never any noise coming from the object.

UFO sightings are said to have increased over the Ukraine. The Zond center for the study of anomalous phenomena claims that the sightings have doubled from about 15 per year to about 30. Scientists in that country blame the increase in sightings on the proliferation of technology, what ever that means? Well the answer came from one scientists who said that disco clubs were responsible, since many of them have laser searchlights outside.
