Well here we are and the nice weather is coming back. We are nearing summer. My webcam has caught a few things in the sky, but they seem to me to be mostly planes seen from different angles. I found out one thing that I never knew, if you see a plane at a distance, a big plane and its wing is slightly about the body because it is turning or such, it looks like a saucer with a bubble or compartment above it in the center. I guess that this would account for some ufo sightings. If anyone wants to look at what my camera has taken already Click Here, there is one interesting mini movie I made of a black object that stayed in the camera for 17 minutes while it slowly traveled upward and from west to east. Bear in mind that if something is very bright, the camera will pick it up as black, so you can't really tell if it is bright or was actually black.

OK now to the topic at hand, what is happening in the world of ufos?

I guess that everyone knows by now that the French government has opened up all their ufo files to the public. We knew that this was coming, but it had been delayed a couple of times. Even when it happened initially, the site crashed almost immediately due to the tremendous interest in ufo data. As of the writing of this article I still haven't had a chance to go to the site and look around. It is claimed that there are over 1600 sighting reports listed there.

The British government was severely criticized for spending over 50,000 pounds on a secret investigation into ufos. The Defense Minister was questioned in the Parliament, but no answers were forthcoming on who actually did the investigation and what the results were. This has many people believing that maybe something was found that the government doesn't want to talk about, but the report itself recommends that ufo reports no longer be monitored by the government because they contain "...no information of defense intelligence interest.”

It is now thought that Nebraska might have had a ufo crash way back in 1884. Several cowboys were rounding up cattle when something that was making a funny noise flew over their heads and crashed. They went over to the object and one guy got burned and they left and he was treated for his burns. A brand inspector went out to look at it and the local paper reported on it in 1887. I don't know why it took three years for them to write the story, but here is what they said, "One piece that looked like the blade of a propeller screw, of a metal of an appearance like brass, about 16 inches wide, three inches thick and three-and-a-half feet long, was picked up by a spade. It would not weigh more than five pounds, but appeared as strong and compact as any known metal. A fragment of a wheel with a milled rim, apparently having had a diameter of seven or eight feet, was also picked up. It seemed to be of the same material and had the same remarkable lightness." One has to wonder if this could have been an airship that crashed and if helium gas caused it to burn so. Even the parts that were described sound like a propeller and steering wheel. I guess we will never know on this one.

In March of this year a photo was taken of a cloudy sky and under it was picturesque homes and a beach. This was the type of photo you could frame, but there was more in this photo that went undetected for a few days, it was a distant ufo. The owner of the photo put it on his computer for closer examination and low and behold, there was a tiny ufo in one of the cloud formations. As it was enlarged, one could see that the object had the classical ufo shape. The ufo was over Richmond Beach, Washington.

A man died in Britain at the age of 88, but there was something very special about this person. There has only been one police investigation into ufo activity and this man was the victim of an alien abduction that caused it. In 1979 he was walking over a hill and he saw a circular object that he described as being about 20 feet in diameter. He walked toward it and as he got closer two ball like object dropped from it and rolled towards him. They attached themselves to his legs and some sort of gas was released from them. The next thing that the man knew was that he had been out over 20 minutes and the ship was gone and he was left with a pounding headache.

In March of 2007 one family had a chilling encounter with a ufo. The incident occurred in England and the ufo was not the traditional silver or metal color, but rather pitch black. One of the children in the family called their mother's attention to a black spot in the sky the was heading toward their home. It accelerated to a very rapid speed and was headed right for the house. The family ran into the house for shelter, but nothing happened. They went outside again to see the ufo hovering over them. It had stopped its descent and was just hanging there. It was not a saucer shape but rather the shape of a cylinder with no engines apparent. The family was completely terrified believing that it would fall on them. One strange property that the ufo had was that even though it was black, it reflected light. It was said to definitely be made of a metal. It then slowly floated away.

A story has come out that reverses what was first believed to be a sighting of space debris. A Chilean aircraft was subject to a near miss by an object as it was about four hours away from Auckland, New Zealand. The crew of the plane described the object as making a loud roaring noise. They also stated seeing objects that looking like several fire balls. This was first thought to be Russian space debris, but NASA has now said that this was not the case. Right now the falling object is yet to be identified. It seems that the event took place at least 12 hours before the first piece of debris could have been seen.

In March 2007 a couple of ufo reports have come out about ufos being seen over Sussex, in England. One sighting was of a silver craft that flickered. Some thought it was a hoax and that the object was a balloon with a lantern attached, but a sketch artist was called and he stated that the object was shaped more like a stick. One person who observed the object through his binoculars, stated that it was more like a metal pole and there were no windows or wings. The other sightings were of glowing orange orbs in the sky. All the orbs were traveling at the same speed and going in the same direction. Again some credited children attaching small candles and straws to plastic bags allowing them travel thousands of feet.

Well it is hard to believe but Roswell is in the news again. I am sure that most of us are getting sick of hearing about what happened there, but some people have to just keep trying to find evidence of a crash. This has to be one of the most combed areas on the face of the earth. I personally just can't see how anyone will be able to find anything in that location, it has been picked to death, yet a company is going to attempt to find proof that a ufo crashed there. I wish them luck, but I can't help but feel they don't have a chance.

England and Scotland seem to be where many ufo sightings have occurred in March, 2007. A woman sighted a cylinder shaped object hovering in the sky near Dumfries. As she was driving, the object descended over her car. She said that the ufo then came down in front of the car and was only at a distance of about 10 feet before it fiercely accelerated and flew off. She said that no sound came from it.

What was that call that was made from the Airport in London to a group of American F-15s in February 2007? Apparently we have a mystery on our hands. The military traffic controller was said to have contacted the RAF Lakenheath airbase and American F-15s were dispatched. There is said to be a recording of this conversation, which shows the F-15s being ordered to intercept a black ufo, which was said to resemble a flying black rock, posted on the internet. All parties involved deny this ever happened. The audio file is being analyzed right now by a famous magazine and by ufo experts. It is said that the planes were ordered to intercept the target between 3,000 and 4,000 feet. The pilots are said to have made two passes at the ufo, but at about 17,000 feet and almost 18,000 feet. It is claimed that after seeing the object one pilot said he didn't want to talk about it to the other pilot.

A silvery object was seen flying over Portland, Oregon in March, 2007. It was in the sky for about 15 minutes and it was hard to tell its shape, but it seemed to be saucer shaped. It darted all over the sky for the time it was in view.

Last, but not least, former Arizona Governor Fife Symington says that the Phoenix Lights were actually extraterrestrial and that he has seen a ufo. "I'm a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies," Symington said, "It was bigger than anything that I've ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don't know why people would ridicule it."
