A few months back we were experiencing a dry spell as far as ufo sightings were concerned. It began to look like ufo activity was slowing down and some ufo organizations were even contemplating closing their doors. All this has changed and ufo activity has increased and of course when this happens, sightings also increase. Let's take a look at what is going on.

An Indian newspaper has stated that the Spitzer Space Telescope, run by NASA, has picked up a very strange sight in the center of our galaxy. They claim that a structure was sighted that looks just like the double helix that represents our dna. It is also listed in the March 16th issue of the journal Nature. A UCLA professor was astounded at the sight. "Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic realm. Most nebulae are either spiral galaxies full of stars or formless amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas - space weather" , stated the professor. Some scientists are not beyond thinking that this might be some sort of gateway. Why would it be this shape? Maybe we will find out more about it when we build more powerful instruments, until then it will probable remain an intriguing mystery.

There is a rumor going around the internet that the year 2012 is going to be a very big year for the people of Earth. It is said that this is the year that the extraterrestrials are going to reveal their presence. One of the things that this is based on is the fact that more ufo information is beginning to come from countries. It is said that the reason for this is the fact that they have been alerted by the extraterrestrials that they are going to spill the beans about their existence in five years. Another thing that leads some to believe this is, is the fact that there is talk everywhere that all the major space agencies of the world are getting together to reveal something that will be Earth shattering. Ufo reporting is now making it into mainstream newspapers and even the mainstream tv stations are carrying stores about sightings. All one has to do is turn on the History channel to confirm this. It is said that at this point, we will get permission to resume our manned missions into space. This would mean that we were told to stay out, which many people have believed for years.

There they were, surfers on a beach in Hawaii at about 6:20 pm a few weeks ago, when ufos were seen circling in the sky. Many people saw them and one of the lights appeared on the KHON 2 SkyCam. The lights had a tail sort of reminiscent of a comet, but they weren't comets because they would maneuver over and over again. Not only did they maneuver, but sometimes they would shoot back up into the sky. One person said after watching a video of one of the objects, that he believed it was only a contrail from a plane, but others were not so ready to accept this explanation. The area has several sky cams and this lead to the ufo sighting in the area in 2004 that was never solved.

The O'Hare sighting caused quite a stir. That was the sighting of a ufo over a gate at the O'Hare airport. Contributing to all the mystery was the fact that worker's jobs were threatened if they talked about it. The latest news on the subject is that Dan Aykroyd, who has a keen interest in ufos, has purchased the only video of the event. Aykroyd stated that he has not only the video, but also photos of the event and when he releases a new ufo dvd next year, this material will be on it. CNN interviewed a mechanic from one of the airlines who saw the ufo and he stated that it was no airplane that everyone saw.

There has been a running debate over a video that appeared recently on the internet. It purports to show two ufos over Lake Erie, complete with audio of the people that are taking the video. Just copy and paste the address into you browser's address bar. When you are dealing with lights in the sky it is very hard to confirm or deny what you are looking at. I personally don't understand why the video goes from darkness to a sort of dawn in the middle and back to pitch black again?

Sightings are continuing in Carolina. A couple of weeks ago it was reported that blue lights were everywhere in the sky. A satisfactory explanation of the event was never forthcoming. Well the lights are back! One man took a photo of one of the objects with his cell phone. The sightings are not confined to one area in the state either. The National Weather Service stated that they saw nothing out of the ordinary on radar during the sightings. A representative from the local university stated that the objects were probably bolides, which are meteors that have a fireball around them.

It was a great day for ufo believers when the Chilean Army disclosed that it's navy had chased a ufo several years ago. The army revealed the classified material that was pertinent to this pursuit. It included recordings and encounters between the military and ufos over the last 30 years. It was said that in one video you could see helicopters and naval vessels chasing a ufo. This was not the only time that ufos were chased. A few years later, in the year 2,000, two aircraft chased a ufo that measured over 40 meters in length which was about 100 kilometers away from the capital of Chile. That is about 60 miles away. All this information was released at the 10th International UFO Congress.

A few weeks ago there was a rash of ufo sightings over London. The ufos appeared over the district of Islington. One witness stated that he looked up and saw 10 to 15 ufos moving in a formation, much like a squad of planes. He said that they weren't planes and didn't look like anything that he had ever seen before. They were traveling south and then they stopped and hovered. At this point something very strange happened, they began to fade out of existence and were gone. More came along and the same sequence of events followed, they also stopped and faded away.

Other sightings in England included the sightings at Archway. People actually slammed the brakes on their cars to stop and see the action in the sky. Squadrons of ufos hovered over the traffic below. The lights were orange. One witness was told he had seen a meteor shower. Believe me this is not what the witnesses thought they were seeing.

One area where ufo activity has tapered off is Kamloops, in Canada. Sightings were pretty regular up to April of 2006 then they all came to an abrupt halt. The type of ufo that was being seen there regularly was the triangle ufo.

There is an article that states that China is beginning to lead the world in ufo awareness and ufo organizations. It goes on to state that China will try and understand an incident instead of trying to figure out how to cover it up as we do. One ufo magazine is said to have a circulation of over 400,000 there. It goes on to state that Brazil and India think that the 2012 revelation that I talked about earlier will happen and it will help us avoid a disaster.
