There is a lot of talk about a documentary named Fastwalkers. In case you don't know, fastwalkers is the name given to ufos by NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command. The film, which I have not seen yet, is said to claim that NORAD knows that ufos are vehicles from space and tracks at least 500 a year approaching the Earth from space and entering our atmosphere. Reviews go on to say that some high level government officials are now admitting that there are vehicles out there piloted by beings that are not from this planet. It is said to also show how these same officials were told to never discuss this. I would be very interested in seeing this one myself. A screening of this film is going to be held in Canada on March 7, 2007 at De La Salle College Theatre, in Toronto. I have just purchased the DVD and can't wait to view it.

I have seen several hundred different documentaries on ufos in my lifetime and while most are pure junk, there are a few that really seem to be on point. Dan Akroyd has a ufo dvd. Yes I know, how can anyone take him seriously? Believe me, he is very serious when it comes to the subject of ufos. It is said that he was the one who purchased the video of the O'Hare ufo that appeared over that airport a couple of months ago. If you watch his dvd you will see some very interesting things regarding ufos. One thing that really struck me, was the fact that he claims, and is dead serious about it, that some people pulled up in a limo in front of where he was working at the time and when they left they got into the car and he turned away for only a split second and the car disappeared. By disappeared he was saying that it vanished. He believes that he had an encounter with the famous men in black. I personally have never seen him in anything where he was this serious and it sure seems that he believes what he is talking about.

One type of dvd on ufos that I stay away from is the type that discusses Roswell. I have been given a few over the years and I have yet to find anything new in any of them. Unfortunately for us, Roswell has been investigated, discussed and probed, to death. Since most of the witnesses are gone there isn't even anyone left to talk to unless you interview the children of the original principals and they too are getting on in years and most don't have any first hand info. About the only way we will ever find out anything new on this topic is if the government releases some documents that we didn't know about that they might have. While this is always a possibility, it certainly is a slim one indeed, since things seem to disappear that relate to anything truly important.

UFO Secret, The Truth About UFOs In Russia is a very strange dvd. Apparently the Russians decided to meet with an Italian and his staff who was very interested in ufos. They all met on a secret military base. Present were several Russians, one of which was a very high ranking general, a member of the FSB which was formerly KBG and several other Russians. Giorgio Bongiovanni was the Italian who met with the Russians after getting permission from former president Gorberchov. He had his wife with him and several ufo experts. The general was very cordial and answered questions quite frankly, when he felt he could without reprocussions.The general was surprising when he admitted that he believed that there were powers other then humans and that they expect something from us and that information is being withheld by Russia and the U.S. Here is the part that threw me for a loop. Bongiovanni is a stigmatic. He has the stigmata on his body and claims to have been in contact with the Virgin Mary. The stigmata is clearly visible on the video. This man has managed not only to have meetings with high Russian officials that no one else has been able to get to, but getting them to admit that ufos are alien craft and the facts are being hidden is truly astounding. I think that if you only see one ufo documentary, this is the one to view.

Secrets Of UFOs, Area 51 Base, is certainly not as revealing as the above dvd. It is a rehash of all those things that we keep hearing about Area 51. Bob Lazar, a man that has claimed to have been employed there and has appeared many times on different informational programs on ufos and that base appears again to tell his worn but interesting story. There is the story about captured alien craft and a few facts from George Knapp newscaster and Robert Dean, a ufo expert and former top secret clearance holder from the military. Glenn Campbell narrates some of the dvd. Campbell is known for his observations of Area 51, over the years. This dvd make at least one thing very clear, any country can take satellite photos of Area 51, yet Americans can not even get close to it on pain of death. There are some very interesting facts that come out on alien technology. There is one inescapable fact that also comes out, if you believe the testimony by witnesses in the video, that fact is that the allegations of a huge government cover up is true.

As I said before, some ufo dvds are really junk. The authors have just thrown together some old photos and videos and rehashed some old testimony. I try and stay away from these. You can usually spot them by their price, most of the time they have a bargain price tag of about $10.00 or less and can be as cheap as $1.00. Sometimes you will see them bound together in a three pack or in the bargain bin at places like Walmart. You have to look at it this way, if you do happen to purchase a few of these lousy dvds, it isn't the end of the world. You are only wasting a few dollars and a little time watching them so I wouldn't get to bent out of shape from the bad purchase.

One last word on ufo documentaries. I have found that the History Channel has some interesting ufo shows. While they are not usually of the secret informational type, they are usually interesting and refer to past incidents involving ufos and the military or the public.
