Bases on the Moon

One of the HOT topics on the internet is Bases on the Moon. The subject seems to appear in many different places, not just on the usual ufo sites. Why is this such a popular topic? I think I'll let you decide after reading some of the material I found on the subject. Let me state, right off the bat, that I DO NOT necessarily believe or agree with anything I am citing. The ideas expressed here are mostly from the authors of this information but I might express and opinion here and there.

One writer claims that NASA has an Alien Threat Response Team and its home base is the Johnson Space Center, located in Houston, Texas. How we could ever defend ourselves against a supposed enemy, who could just sit off in space somewhere and bombard the earth, is quite an intriguing question. But wait, its not the earth they want to protect, it seems we have secret bases on the moon and that is what is being attacked or at least this is what the writer alleges. The claim is that aliens took over one of the bases. The story goes on further to state that a top secret nuclear weapon was being tested on the base. The name of the base is Prometheus and it was built in 1996. It is said that these aliens don't look like any that are usually described, but more like plants.

One thing that doesn't seem to lend itself to an easy explanation, is the fact that many UFOs have been seen and photographed by astronauts while on missions. One article claims that EVERY launch we performed was accompanied by ufos which were piloted by aliens. This author claims that there is a moon base called Luna and we have photographs of it. Here is the photograph he submits as evidence. He claims it is from Apollo 17 Frame M-5000 NASA, the picture on the bottom is one I obtained from NASA, Picture Number AS15-1556(M) and I think it is very mysterious. Notice the sharp corners on the shadows reminiscent of a man made structure. Disregard the arrows on the picture on the bottom, they are by NASA and refer to something else.

Many people claim that the NASA space program, that we see, is only a front to hide the real space program. If that were true, it certainly would explain a lot of things, such as why we never went back to the moon and why we are not conducting manned space exploration. Some scientists claim that prolonged space flight is too dangerous due to radiation and muscle deterioration, but shouldn't we have solved these problems by now? I have never seen the show, but one of the astronauts is supposed to have given an interview on a British TV show called Science Report, where he spilled the beans on the moon bases.
It is alleged that we are in possession of alien technology and easily fly to the moon, and to the other planets, and the citizens are being kept in the dark about our true capabilities. Supposedly, besides the aliens, the Americans are not the only ones in the bases. The Russians are there also.

Some moon base stories are just too way out to be believable in any way. I think one such story that is circulating around the web is the one that states Nazis landed on the moon during the second world war. It goes on to state further that they established moon bases. This story was probably created because of the alleged German saucer plans that were said to have fallen into allied hands at the end of the war and the fact that the Germans had primitive rocket technology. Some of these stories state that there are still Nazis on the moon. Maybe the moon ss are the ones that overran our moon bases, just kidding. It is said that they tunneled under the surface, so these bases are not seen and they just keep digging and expanding. Busy little devils aren't they? This falls in with the rumor that the moon is not as inhospitable as the government would have you believe. Space suits are not really required, just oxygen and decompression (these are not my words but ideas expressed in many places on the web). Now the story doesn't end there. At least several stories go on to tell how the moon colony launched a Nazi saucer to Mars. They say it had a large suicide crew of Germans and Japanese who knew it was a one way trip and that the saucer crashed on the red planet, but somehow the crew survived for 8 months. The reason for the large crew was that all the controls were manual and it took many hands to control it.

Scientists say they are thinking about a moon base and the south pole on the moon would be ideal. Its relatively warm since the sun shines on it and there might be water there. The constant sunlight can be used to generate electrical power.

The next topic about moon bases states that they belong to the aliens. Supposedly a transmission was picked up by a ham radio operator from Apollo 11.

It is said that during a lecture Neil Armstrong stated that we were warned away from the moon by the aliens.

The stories go on to explain this is why we can't have any bases on the moon. It is said that the alien base is named Luna and that different types of machinery can be seen there. It is basically a mining operation on the far side of the moon. Makes you wonder, don't they have anywhere closer to home to conduct their digging?

It seems our military had a plan to go to the moon and establish a base in 1959. But a civilian agency called NASA took over all projects related to space travel and as far as we know, no bases were ever built.
