It has been awhile since I have written a ufo update. There seems to be a large drop off in the amount of reported sightings. This fact alone seems very strange to me. Why would there be such a slow down in sightings when they have been going on for so many years? If there are genuine alien craft in our sky, are they hiding themselves better or are there just not as many of them? Well, be that as it may, here is your update.

A ufo was seen over one of the busiest places that it could possibly appear, O'Hare Airport in Chicago. The sighting took place on November 7, 2006. This was not a sighting of one of those triangular ufo that seem to have become the most popular, but it was a sighting of the more traditional disk shaped one. Federal authorities were contacted about the sighting by at least a dozen witnesses. The saucer was reported as spinning and could be compared in size to what you would see if you held a quarter out at arms length, but no estimate of the distance to the object was made so it is impossible to figure out it's size. It flew above an airborne flight. It stayed visible for about two minutes then shot straight up at a terrific speed through clouds, leaving a hole behind it. This object was visible on radar and sighted by the control tower.

I don't know how many of you know this, but there is a code word that is used by our military when they see a ufo heading toward the Earth. They call them fastwalkers, sometimes referred as fast walkers, not ufo or bogies or anything like that. I thought you might like to know this in case you come across this term in the future. Now that there seem to be much less sightings, what are people talking about on the internet as regards ufos? They seem to be going over older sightings and using this lull to give them time to delve more deeply into the facts of previous sightings.

A ufo was spotted over the Canary Islands in November, 2006. Witnesses. reported seeing lights diving off the coast of the islands. A strange phenomena was also reported. It was said that all electrical appliances went off for a few seconds while the ufos were overhead and came back on when they flew away. This has happened in this area before. The authorities said that they could explain this and said that the lights were just satellites passing overhead. They said that they could also explain why the appliances went off. The reason they gave seems quite bizarre. They said that the royal motorcade had been passing by on the road and they set up a magnetic field that stopped the appliances from running for a few seconds. The authorities went on to say that the motorcade contains signal inhibitors that are designed to shut things off as they go by, for the protection of the royal family.

On November 29, 2006 several drivers were startled to see a ufo hovering motionless in the sky above them, in London. The witnesses swore that what they saw was not a plane, balloon or helicopter. The night before, lights were reported slowly flashing over a house from the sky. One witness said that the object was about the height of an electricity pylon. After the object disappeared, lights appeared in the sky a couple of days later. The object was shinning red lights slowly over houses in the area. This area has two other known ufo sightings in the last year.

A ufo was seen on November 17, 2006 in Columbia, South America. The object was first seen by a lady looking out of her window. She described the object as circular with red and yellow hues that was just hovering. Her husband and neighbors joined her and all watched the ufo. The neighbor took a video. No other information on the object is available.

A black triangular ufo has been spotted over Caracas, Venezuela in November, 2006. Three startled people were standing in front of a bank when the huge machine slowly flew over it. The ufo remained visible for over thirty minutes. Other observers joined the initial group as they all watched the mysterious object. It was reported that the object was white and sometimes blue, red and green hues were visible. When the object finally left, it zigzagged it's way through the air into the clouds. The witnesses reported that a wake appeared behind the ufo that glowed and was cone shaped. Those under the wake reported feeling a sensation of nausea. Similar objects have been reported over the presidential palace, Fort Tiuna and over El Avlia National Park.

On October 1, 2006 a ufo sighting was made in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Two lights were seen traveling very slowly. They appeared to be about two miles apart and at a height somewhere around 1,500 feet. The witness drove under one of the ufos and observed that it had two large lights at each end and small lights along the bottom. A row of windows could also be seen. The object was cigar shaped. The size of the object could not be judged accurately.

A document was found recently in Russia that talks about a ufo sighting in 1808. I thought that you might be interested in this. The object was seen on September 1, 1808. It was enormous and made loud cracking sounds. It rose to cloud height and hovered. It had risen with incredible speed. A flame appeared on it's front edge. It was so bright that everything around it seemed to be in daylight even though it was night time. It floated in a circle for awhile then went "perpendicularty upward", I am quoting the author, this is not a spelling error. The object then went straight up and after about two minutes disappeared out of view. All this took place in a time when there was nothing in the sky except maybe a very occasional hot air balloon. It is believed that the witness to this event was Andrey Chebotaryov, a professor of chemistry at Moscow University.

Well so much for this report. It is kind of sparse, but as I said, sightings have really fallen off.
