The UFO Denial

Did you ever wonder why, a subject like ufo sightings has so many interested people? We have been told, many times, that the government was not interested in ufos, yet a myriad of documents has been found from every government agency dating back to right after World War II, showing that these government agencies were very interested in ufos. These documents are only the tip of the iceberg. As one ufo expert stated, if it pertained to ufos and it was felt that it was very important, it never made it to a memorandum. I am sure he is right about this. Everyone knows that if you write it down, it may come back some day to haunt you, as the saying goes. While the scientific community usually shuns the topic of ufos, there are some scientists that are now convinced that ufos are extraterritorial spacecraft. A video was taken by NASA of an object seen while the space shuttle was in orbit. The flight was STS-48. The contents of this video were analyzed by a famous physicist and he firmly believes that the object is an extraterrestrial ufo. He claims that he has measured every angle and speed acceleration and there is nothing else that it could be. NASA's comment on this was that it was nothing more than ice crystals. This famous video is below, check it out.

The above film has been one of the most controversial films ever taken. Everything always seems to come back to the question of why is ufo material, material that the government says that it is not interested in, so highly classified that much of it is inaccessible. If the government is truly uninterested in this data, what harm is there in letting the public see it? Some might say that some of the data would gives clues to secret government projects. I am sure that his is true. As a matter of fact that is exactly what happened in the old Soviet Union when, for a brief time, people were allowed to discuss and write about ufos. It turned out that some of the things that they were writing about and discussing were secret government missile launches and such. Of course the people didn't know this, but the Soviets were horrified when they figured this out, because they were afraid that this was tipping the Americans to their secret projects. But not everything should be classified for this reason. I am sure that there is plenty of data that has absolutely nothing to do with any of our secret projects that could be released.

In their thirst for more ufo information, a Canadian citizen started a ufo investigation of his own. It was called Project Magnet. Supposedly a project was also started in the U.S. that used aircraft to detect magnetic abnormalities. It is said that they found high magnetic interference above the Bermuda Triangle. The project was concerned with gathering data that might explain ufos. The U.S. Navy was said to have funded the program in the U.S. In Canada, Wilbert B. Smith was a Department of Transport engineer who got permission to use one of his agencies labs to study ufos. Smith started his studies in the early 1950s. He made a big mistake by admitting that he believed that ufos were extraterrestrial. This soured many in the scientific community and eventually the agency which he worked for. The project was shut down in 1954. He was allowed to submit a final report, but the Transportation Department had some independent scientists submit there report which countered his findings.

In 1972 a video was taken from Apollo 16. Supposedly this video showed a ufo that John Young, one of the astronauts aboard, saw out of the portal and filmed. This video has been examined many times. Controversy has accompanied it all these years and now NASA says that the mystery has been solved and that the object is merely a reflection. I would like to know, if that is true, than how did Young, who was probably pressing his face against the window to get a better look, even see it? Isn't it true that most people would want to get as close as possible if they saw something like this from the window of a spaceship? The film is displayed here for you to view, see what you think?

In 1990 dozens of people were in the rooftop pool of the Bonaventure Hotel in Canada. They were doing what people in hotels on vacation do, enjoying themselves. They were all having a great time until something very strange happened. A circle of light began to form above them. The lights were very bright. The lights lasted for over 3 hours and drifted north. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police were called in and this was considered a serious event. It took 2 years for a 25 page report to be put out. The basic core of the report was that some object, that was at least 540 meters in diameter caused the phenomena. No description of the object was included and the origin of the object remains a mystery to this day. The problem with this type of stuff is that such an object could be anything and it could also be a lot smaller than it seemed, because of the blinding lights.

Nasa has a few videos that seem to suggest the chance of alien life. there is the famous video, called by some as the smoking gun which shows circular objects that seem to be pulsing with power and are huge, passing under a broken tether that is over 12 miles long. For every video they have, they also have an explanation for the objects that appear in them. As I said before, some in the scientific community are not so convinced by NASA's explanations. Lets hope that as we progress in our explorations of space, we will eventually get an answer as to whether ufos are extraterrestrial or not. It would be nice if we could find this out before we are all dead from old age, but many of us, if not all alive today, may be. NASA's position is that there is nothing to tell.
