Klerksdorp Sphere

Scientists and archaeologists have found all sorts of stuff that absolutely makes no sense, well I shouldn't say that the stuff makes no sense, I should say that there is no scientific explanation for it, if it is out of time. A great example of what I am talking about are the Klerksdorp spheres. Why do I say that this discovery is so strange? It is because the spheres seemed to have been machined to create a circle around them. You don't think that this is strange? Well let me add a little something to that, the spheres were found by miners in South Africa in Precambrian strata that is almost 3 billion years old. Does this make the whole thing sound impossible? If you consider that man has only been on this earth for a tiny fraction of that time, we have a great mystery on our hands. These little spheres range from about .5 to 10 cm in diameter. Their shapes vary from the more flattened to the rounder. When asked how this could happen, some scientists claim that it is a natural formation and while they have nothing that looks exactly like the spheres to show us they do have something called button rocks that were discovered in New York and are natural. The difference is the spheres have clearly defined parallel lines around them, but the button rocks seem to be made from soft material and are all different shapes. Scientists state that the grooves are actually fine laminations that grew in the rock. Well if this is the case, how come the circles are so perfect and neatly spaced? While it is claimed that the spheres are metal, several scientists say that this is rubbish and completely false.

The Baigong Pipes were found on Mount Baigong in China. On the mountain is a pyramid and the pipes are said to have a connection to it. One pipe is 16 inches in diameter and it was found sticking out of a cave on the mountain. These pipes have also been found in Toson Lake and on the shore. The lake is about 260 feet from the cave. There are also rusty pieces of metal and oddly shaped stones near the pipes. U.S. Scientists discovered the pipes while looking for dinosaur fossils. The pyramid has dozens of the pipes inside it. They are buried in the floor and angle out of the walls. Some pipes are so small that they are only the size of a tooth pick. It turns out that other ancient pipes have been found around the world and some are right in this country and are known as the Louisiana cylinders. The pyramid is said to show no workmanship and is believed to be a natural formation. As of yet, no one knows the age of these pipes, but they are clearly extremely old.

Dorchester Pot Article In Scientific American

The Dorchester Pot was found in 1851, it had been encased in solid rock and reported in Scientific American in that year. The pot was found in two pieces, after miners were using explosives to break up rock. The pot had been blasted out of the rock. The pot is believed by some to be at least 100,000 years old. It seems to me that it could be a lot older, since the rock it came from was probably older.

The Ironman

The Iron man is an iron pillar that is partially buried in the ground in a German forest. It is about 14 feet long, with almost 5 feet sticking out of the ground. It is remarkably well preserved without rust. It is believed that it was created somewhere around the 13 century AD for reasons unknown. Why would any blacksmith want to work so hard on such a large project that was only a long bar of iron? The end in the ground has a T shape. The rough surface was caused by pouring the iron into a sand mold. What meaning does the Iron Man hold? Was it only intended as a marker to show a village boundary? Scientists that have studied it are just not clear on it's purpose.

Wolfsegg Iron

Another iron object of more obscure origin is the Wolfsegg Iron or Salzburg Cube. This small block of iron was found inside a seam of coal in Wolfsegg, Austria in 1865. The object was examined at the Natural History Museum in Vienna, Austria. It was the opinion of the scientists there that the object is man-made cast iron. The next question is quite obvious, how did it get into the seam of coal in a mine? The coal was many thousands and maybe hundreds of thousands of years old. Does this mean that someone was making iron before anyone was supposed to have even existed on earth?

The Kingoodie Hammer is an iron nail that was found in a stone in 1844, in a quarry in Scotland. The name of the quarry was Kingoodie. The stone that was being quarried was between 360 and 408 million years old, making the object at least that old. Some scientists argue that the nail, if genuine, would have oxidized and never would have lasted. I think that we have to consider a couple of things here first. Number one is the fact that since the nail was inside stone, maybe oxygen couldn't get to it and number two, some very old iron is around that hasn't oxidized, such as The Iron Man above and an iron column in India.

Another strange find were microscopic objects that are hundreds of thousands of years old. Prospectors looking for gold in the Ural Mountains of Russia found spiral shaped artifacts made from copper, tungsten and molybdenum. One looks like a tiny post with a spring wound around it. It would have taken a highly advanced civilization to produce objects like these. They were dug out of the ground from as deep as 40 feet. One person said that they bear an uncanny resemblance to control objects used in micro miniature devices today.

The objects that seem to be out of place in time are called OOPArt, a term that Ivan T. Sanderson coined. He was an American zoologist.
