Sometimes there are a lot of unusual things happening. Oh I am not talking about the paranormal this time, I am talking about things that seem unusual that might appear in the news or you might see on tv or hear on the radio. There is a lot in this category that just seems strange. Sometimes you read one of these stories and you just can't help but feel there has to be more to the story that you are not being told.

Police in Florida were horrified when they looked in the water. What could they have seen that upset them so? There was a naked man in the water, well he was in the water, but more accurately he was in the water and in the mouth of a huge alligator. It took four deputies to pull the man from the jaws of death. The poor man almost had his arm severed. What was this guy doing naked? What was he doing in gator infested waters? He was quoted as saying he had been smoking crack, but he couldn't have fallen since he had no clothes on. I guess he just felt like a swim.

I just read a story that seemed a bit bizarre to me, but I have to remember that I am always viewing things with a suspicious eye. It seems one kid got arrested for opening his Christmas present early. His mother must have had other reasons besides opening presents early to press charges, if not, this has to be one of the toughest penalties for early present opening in history. It turns out the 12 year old boy had been in a lot of trouble at school and had been suspended. So what was the charge, it was petty larceny.

Are you tired of playing that same old, predictable game on the computer? Maybe it is time for you to play against living creatures. I am not talking about playing two player games, I am talking about playing against insects. Yes you have heard me right, insects. It seems that a game of pacman has been designed that uses the movements of crickets to steer the ghosts. A maze was constructed that was proportional to the game and crickets were put into it. When a power pill is eaten the maze floor vibrates causing the crickets to run in different directions. The movement is converted to the movements of the ghosts.

If you thought that sharks look menacing now, you should have seen one species that lived over 250 million years ago. A whorl-tooth shark also known as a Helicoprion, was over 4 yards long and had a very strange tooth arrangement. It's teeth were arranged on a palette that resembled a wheel on edge. This was a very strange arrangement indeed.

What happened on that fateful date in 1972 when Apollo 16 launched the lunar orbiting probe known as PFS-2? PFS-1 was put into orbit 8 months before and was orbiting correctly. PFS-2 kept changing orbit on it's own. Sometimes it would go so low that it would skim the surface of the moon. Scientists bit their nails as the satellite kept altering it's orbit, on it's own until it finally crashed. Some people blame the usual space aliens, but scientists claim to have finally figured out what happened, they state that the erratic orbiting was caused by the moon's gravity. I just have one question, why didn't the PSF-1 satellite get effected?

North Korea is in very bad shape, economy wise. People are starving there, that's what makes what I am about to tell you even more strange. A newspaper ran a story about how China has stopped send food shipments to North Korea because the North Koreans were keeping the trains that the food arrived on. Yep, they would send the crews home trainless.

All of us have heard about shoplifters from time to time. You know the kind of people I am talking about, they put on several coats and dresses, fill their pockets, put on a new pair of shoes and walk out of the store. Well some shoplifters are more greedy than others. One particular greedy one, decided to fill her pockets with all sorts of merchandise. Well this shoplifter put so much in her pockets that as she was walking out of the store, her pants fell down, instantly revealing her booty in more ways than one. This is a family site so I won't go into too many details, but apparently she was sans underwear.

Animals have been acting strange of late in some places. I don't know if anyone reading this article has ever had a friend or relative that had a personality change due to taking medicine, but I have seen it a couple of times and it is not pretty. It seems that certain chemicals are finding their way into our ecosystem and these are doing to some animals what the medicines I was talking about do to some humans. It has made fish hyperactive. Some seagulls have been falling over when they try and stand up. Mice that have been effected become very aggressive. If this keeps up, the behavior of animals might be altered permanently.

Think that you heard it all? Her is really one for the books. A paper reported on December 9 that a man had reportedly rammed a parked police car. Apparently he damaged his car so badly that he had to abandon it. This made it kind of easy to track this guy down. When the police caught him and asked him why he repeatedly rammed their car, he replied that he was very upset with them. He said he was driving through the city streets at over 100 miles per hour and no police ever pulled him over.
