There are a lot of strange places on this Earth of ours. One of the strangest is the bottom of the ocean. Being on the bottom of the ocean, or even underwater in some areas, is like being on another world. I saw a photo of something that really looked weird, it was a school of star fish, perhaps a couple of hundred of the critters, eating a jellyfish. It looked like a pile of stars. From above, it reminded me of those stars the came in a box that the teacher used to put on your papers. It just looked like a pile of them. The starfish are small and looked orange or rust colored. When you are down really deep, say in a deep diving submersible, you begin to see blind fish and crabs. There is so little light at these depths that eyes wouldn't help these animals much anyway. Can alien worlds be much stranger?

Lake Vida is a lake that is under nineteen meters of ice, approximately 62.5 feet, under Antarctica. It has been sealed off for at least 2,800 years. But how come this is not a frozen lake since everything above it is frozen? The answer to this question is simple, the lake is seven times saltier than sea water and that keeps it from freezing. The Antarctic has 70 known lakes of this type. Scientists are very interested in this type of lake, because they think that there may be a chance that they may find something similar on Mars. Just imagine, this lake has been cut off from the rest of the planet, even the atmosphere for all of these years. It could contain extinct life or maybe life that is evolving differently. I am not talking about intelligent life, but tiny fish like life. It is also true that 2,800 years is not much time in evolutionary terms.

There is a ranch in Utah that is about 480 acres in size. It is a cattle ranch, a very strange cattle ranch. What makes this place so strange is the fact that so many ufo sightings have taken place there. It is not only ufos that are constantly sighted here, but strange creatures. One of the creatures that was spotted was almost invisible, but the roaring sound that it make would have scared the pants off anyone. Think that this stuff is unusual? Well the fabled Bigfoot has also been seen here. Mutilated cattle have littered the ranch and balls of light have danced overhead. Dogs have disappeared along with cattle, never to be seen again. Cigar shaped craft shot all over the skies above the ranch. Paranormal activity over the ranch and in the basin it is located in has gotten so intense at times, that the police stopped taking reports, according to some of the residents. This is truly a strange place.

Tanzania is a country located in Africa. It's size is 945,087 sq km. There is a very unique volcano in this country, so unique that it may be the only one of it's type, I can't be sure. There is a mountain called Ol Doinyo Lengai. The mountain is actually a volcano. I think we all know how volcanoes work. When they erupt, they spew out lava and smoke, along with other particles that land on the earth below. This is not exactly true of our Tanzanian volcano. This volcano spews out lava that hardens in midair and shatters with it hits the earth like a piece of glass. The lava coming out of this volcano is of the natrocarbonatit natrocarbonatite type verses the more common basalt type lava. It's temperature at eruption is only about 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 50% cooler than most volcanoes.

What is a petroglyph? It is a rock that has a picture carved into it, at least that is usually how it is thought of. There is an exception to this and it is called the Jesus Petroglyph. What makes the Jesus Petroglyph so different is the fact that it is claimed that the inside contains photographs not drawings. There are two of these stones. It is said that the images are those of humans, animals, events, places and other miscellaneous things. It is also said that the images are overlayed photographic masks and have been enhanced by light filters. It is also said that they are 3 dimensional and holographic. Was there an ancient race that had the capability of photography, could this be possible? Some experts believe that the Ancient Greeks were very close to creating photographs. Putting photos on stone certainly would have preserved the "negatives" a lot longer. It is difficult to date something like this because the best one can do is date the rock, not the process, but it is obvious that this work was done in ancient times.

When we talk of life being possible on other planets, some people think that we have already found it and point to photos taken by the Mars Rovers as evidence. One of the things they cite is the rabbit looking photo. I am no scientist, but there is at least one thing that I know. If you weren't really on Mars and the entire thing was faked than you could have a rabbit accidentally in your photo There is also something that looks like a rodent that is digging with it's hind feet spread out and tail up in the air. If you tie all this in with the footprint that I found in the Mars photos, it would not be too hard to conclude that these photos are really not from Mars at all.

So here we have some pretty strange things to think of. We have strange places and strange things, most of which may be a surprise to us. Animals without eyes is understandable at the dark ocean depths. A volcano that spews out lava that hardens in mid air is quite unusual. The paranormal ranch in Utah has to make one wonder what the heck is going on. If those negatives are actually ancient and embedded into rocks we may have proof of an ancient, advanced race. As far as those Mars photos go, are we being tricked by NASA or is the footprint and animals just things that look that way but are explainable?
