The Kolbrin
Throughout history there have been rumors of strange books, some of which possess powers that man is just not ready for. Supposedly there are certain books and scrolls that could give the reader the key to powers that are hither to unknown in humans. Some of these were said to have been destroyed in the great fire. I am referring to the fire that destroyed the ancient library in Alexandria, in Egypt. Some books were said to have information that was guarded by secret societies for thousands of years. Anyone who is a regular watcher of the History channel knows what I am talking about, but for you that don't, I am talking about a book, actually more like a collection of scrolls, that supposedly shows that Jesus had descendants. So what is the book called the Kolbrin all about? To put it in plain language, this book is a bible. How can that be you say? Lets look at the bible. What is it really? It is a collection of of writings that are of a religious nature and are said to be true. It is said that if you believe in the bible and practice the lessons therein, you will be a very holy person. The bible comes in two main parts, the old testament and the new testament Some people believe in both and others in just the old testament Not everyone believes in the bible but those that belong to religions that do may not believe in exactly the same version of the old testament In some religions certain books have been left out of the bible while in others they are part of the bible. Most of the authors of the Kolbrin are unknown. It is said that some of the writings in the Kolbrin are from very early times and are similar to the old testament that we are all familiar with. Here is an interesting fact. The original writers of these articles wanted to protect them as best they could. So how would you do this in ancient times? They wrote their writings on sheets made from bronze the best material they had at the time for preserving these articles. They took the bronze sheets and locked them into boxes that were covered with copper. The pages became known as the Bronze Book of Britain. There is a church, a very old church, in Britain, it is so old that it is the oldest above ground Christian church in the world or at least that is what Glastonbury Abbey states. This abbey was the home of the bronze sheets. Supposedly Joseph of Arimathea is said to have founded the original church at Glastonbury in 63 A.D. Legend has it that St. Philip sent Joseph with 12 disciples to establish Christianity on the Islands of Great Britain. The Kolbrin tells of the end times and some think that we are living in them now so they give this book a lot of relevance. As a matter of fact many who know about the Kolbrin call it the other bible. Some say that even Jesus read from the parts that were around in his lifetime. The book is said to contain 548 pages and can be purchased in many different places. Supposedly this book was guarded by religious societies but almost destroyed when a fire broke out at the Glastonbury Abbey in the 1100s. Many of the passages in the Kolbrin describe the same events as the old testament and they are described as happening in the same way. The end times stories are different and seem to be a little more fanciful than those in the traditional bible, maybe that is why they were never adopted as part of the old testament An example of this is one passage that speaks of sky monsters battling in the heavens and God cutting them apart and throwing them down upon the earth. Some say that this is a reference to meteors hitting the earth while others wonder what the exact meaning of the passage really is. All is not gloom and doom with this book however. It also talks of a destroyer that has helpers that can also benefit mankind and give us wisdom which will bring us closed to our God. I wonder why, if secret Catholic societies thought enough of this book to keep it from harm, that it wasn't made more widely known? Could the reason have been that the church didn't want it's people to get confused between the teachings of it and the traditional bible? I guess we will never know the answer to this since all those who took part in that decision are long dead. It does make you wonder if someday, another book will turn up that also seems to have many biblical accounts and maybe even some unknown facts that might shock us or at least surprise us. |
