From time to time strange things turn up on this Earth of ours that just seem to be beyond explanation. Sometime these things are not strange in themselves but what makes them strange is the way they were discovered. For example a transistor was found inside a rock that was over one million years old. There was nothing strange about the transistor but the fact that a million year old rock formed around it was truly strange indeed. On the surface this would seem to indicate that either there was an advanced civilization on Earth millions of years ago or that visitors to this planet left this transistor behind and over eons a rock formed over it. Quite a question to ponder isn't it?

But the object I am about to discuss is not from inside a rock or buried in the earth or any such thing. This is an object that was washed up on the banks of the Colorado River in July of 2002. The object was a metal sphere. That in itself doesn't make it so strange, even though metal spheres are not exactly common. Could this sphere have been some sort of crashed satellite that we had launched, after all if you remember the first satellites were spherical in shape? It was about 12 inches in diameter and a little under 10 pounds in weight. The case is made of a hard metal with what could be scorch marks on it, but it seems that the sphere has been bouncing around in the river for some time as exhibited by the dents and rubs on the case. Some sort of welding has taken place on the sphere and this is what holds the circular lid in place. The sphere contains several fittings. There is a phillips head screw that holds a strap on one side. I think the phillips head screw almost guarantees the orb is from Earth. Some might argue however that this screw was designed from alien technology as many people consistently do. The object has been X-rayed and you will never guess what is inside it? There is a slightly smaller sphere inside. There are pipes that lead to the fittings on the outside.

But wait, another sphere was discovered in Texas in 1997. A fireball had been seen soaring across the sky, it was so bright that is was visible in 4 states. A few days later a Cattle rancher found a sphere that had fallen onto his property. So far this almost seems like the famous Roswell story, doesn't it? This sphere was described as being about the size of a medicine ball and believed to be hollow. The sphere had, what looked like, scorch marks covering the outside. The US Air Force came to the farm and took the sphere.

Hey guess what folks, another sphere washed up off the North Carolina coast in June of 2002. This sphere was also made of a hard metal and was about three feet in diameter. It floated nicely on the water. This orb had numbers on it. No one was about to swim out to it to retrieve it. First of all, no one was sure that it wasn't dangerous. Can you imagine pulling in something that was radioactive or contained poison gas? When NASA and the NOAA were contacted for information on the object but they both stated that they had no idea what it was. Even if they knew, the question is, would they be willing to tell us peasants anything anyway, their record in this area is not exactly sterling, especially for NASA? Can you imagine the secrets that organization is harboring.? Some say the orb cracked in half when it was finally brought in and there was nothing inside except water.

The most mysterious spheres or orbs of all were found in the Wonderstone Silver Mine in South Africa. These spheres range in size from 1 to 2 inches in diameter. These orbs were created on a machine. That is not very strange is it? Maybe this fact will convince you that this is a strange situation, they are made of a nickel and steel alloy that has to be manufactured, filled with a spongy material and ARE OVER 3 BILLION YEARS OLD! I bet this got your attention. We know their age because of the layer of rock that they were found inside of in the mine. By the way there are over 200 of these things. All the spheres rotate on their axis. Again we are forced to face the fact that we present day humans may not have been the first to occupy this planet.
