Did you ever have the idea that the Mars described by NASA doesn't seem to be the same as the next planet out? Why are so many of the descriptions of the Red Planet different than what scientific evidence would indicate? Oh I am not talking about big things right this second, but even the little things NASA would have you believe like Mars is freezing cold somewhere around -100 Degrees F. If that were true, than the solar cells on our probes would not work because they can not function at temperatures that low. The bottom line for those cells is somewhere around -40 Degrees F. The same is true about the atmosphere. NASA suggests that the atmosphere is extremely thin, only about 1% of that on Earth. Scientists have suggested that if this were true, then there would be no ice from any source since it would have boiled off long ago. These are not the only inconsistencies, as a matter of fact there are a whole lot more, but I am using these to point out something. I believe that we don't really know what most of the surface of the planet even looks like and we only see, what I will refer to as, the sanitized version. But even this version has some very strange things to offer.

One can't help but get the feeling that NASA is only going through the motions with Mars, after all they seem to shy away from what most of us would think of as the most interesting places to explore such as the Cydonia region. I am sure most of you have heard of this area, it is where the famous 'face' is located along with supposed pyramids and ruins. Why would any space agency want to pass up the chance to find out if these are archeological treasures indicating prior life on the planet? I say they wouldn't and they haven't. Oh they can say that the face is only a natural feature and show us some trumped up photo with most of the photographic data missing as they have done, but this doesn't really prove anything. They have never adequately explained why they haven't explored this region, they just keep using the excuse that they are looking for water. What is more important to prove life on a planet, finding water or finding structures? We have some great technology now. We don't even have to send a probe to Cydonia, we could photograph it from orbit and still get many of the answers to our questions. Why hasn't this been done? If you can photograph a newspaper headline from 100 miles up, why can't you get photos of Cydonia? Again I have to say that I think that they must have already, why would they be ignoring it?

So what is really going on here? Some people suggest that we are not really on Mars and have never went to the Moon. There has been much evidence put forward to prove that the moon landing was a hoax. I guess we will never know the truth for sure until other nations land there, but does that even prove anything? Couldn't we have landed a LEM there remotely? I don't want you to think that this is my opinion because I still have an open mind on this subject and if one were to ask me for my private thoughts on the subject, I would have to say that I still think that we have a secret Air Force program that has been landing people on the Moon and maybe Mars for years and everything else that is going on is merely eye wash. That would explain why we don't seem to care about true exploration of Mars or why we haven't sent men back to the Moon, because we have been doing it secretly for many years. Who knows, we may have even discovered some sort of sophisticated propulsion system by now that makes these trips much faster. I would think that getting to the Moon in a day or so, is not considered impossible with the right engine, after all, it only took a few days, one way, for the first flight.

We might even have some sort of defenses built in places like the moon. I am not talking about rockets and the like because they would take too long to reach targets on Earth, but I am talking about high powered laser. The beams travel at the speed of light and could be fired with pinpoint accuracy. I would hope that we didn't do this, but who knows? Maybe I am all wrong about this, wouldn't it be something if all those nay sayers were right and we haven't gone anywhere? Could it be that there is some elaborate setup in the Nevada desert that is being used to make us think that we have probes on Mars? Truthfully, I really don't see the point of that. I never did think that if we didn't reach Mars for awhile it would be the end of the world, so to speak. It just seems like too much of a risk for the return that would be gained. After all, if it were exposed, the U.S. would truly look the fool. Its bad enough now that some of the things we are doing are not too bright but this would be the icing on the cake.

As far as the landers on Mars go, many people are claiming to find artifacts in the photos that are being sent back. Strangely some of these things look like twisted metal, statues, mechanical parts with possible serial numbers and so forth. We all know that if you look up into the sky at the clouds you can imagine that they look like almost anything. Is this the case with these artifacts? I would have to say no to at least some of them. Even on this site I have published many photos of Mars showing strange objects on the ground. The funny part is that many of them are quite near the lander or probe when the photographs are taken. What is going on here?

The photos above come from NASA. I haven't done anything to them except circle the strange object in the photo at left and enlarge it in the photo on the right. The Mar's Sprit rover took these photos. To me it is obvious that the object in the photo is not a rock. Notice the rounded shape on top and what seems to be an area on each side for a screw. Of course I could be wrong but you have to admit that this looks like a piece of some sort of mechanical device?

Another point that I would like to make is that we may have discovered evidence of past life on Mars or even present life. There are caves on Mars that seem to be emitting certain gases that are a byproduct of life. The gases are in small amounts as would be indicated by animal life. Another thing is an interesting photo by NASA's Mars Spirit rover.

Is this the skeleton of a deceased life form? If it is a rock, it is mighty strange one. Even more convincing is another photo of a different artifact taken by the same rover.
