I think we have gotten our fill of the photos of Apollo 17. What have we found out so far? We have discovered that there are photos were the shadows cast do not conform with the light source, that there is something that looks like ruins on the moon and there is microscopic writing on at last one photo. The lights that appear overhead in some of the photos were also a puzzle. Aside from these finds it seemed that Apollo 17 was business as usual. Does what we have found prove anything? No, but it does raise some questions. The shadows going in all different directions was one of the reasons for the belief by some people that the landing was done on a huge set and not the moon. They contend that overhead lights were used and hence the shadows going in all different directions.

It is interesting to note that a flash occurred on the moon and was seen from the command module. It never seemed to be clarified as to what it was even though it was assumed that a meteorite hit the surface. Its also curious that Cernan didn't know exactly where he had landed. You would have thought either the instruments on board or NASA would have given him that information.
