Hello, you are probably wondering what this site is all about, so am I, just kidding. I run this site with the express purpose of delving into things that I find interesting in the hope that you will find them interesting too. This means covering many different subjects. One day we might be talking about digs in Egypt and the next the space shuttle or a haunted house. The site is a hobby, it derives no revenue from anywhere. I write most of the articles myself, but also get some from individuals, government agencies, and other sources that allow me to post them. I wanted to have a site like this for years but really didn't have the time until I retired. Since I run the site as a one man operation, my goal of an article a day, except for Sundays is not always met. Sometimes family matters come up that take time. For example, the month of October 2004 is very hectic for me since we have a wedding in the family, therefore I can only post about every other day until the fourth week.

You will NEVER see any pornography on this site. If anyone posts a link to pornography it will be removed immediately. I want to have a site that anyone in the family can come to and enjoy.

I recommend the screen resolution of 1024 X 768 but 600 X 800 should work fine. I like the higher resolution because the pictures look better.

This site works fine with Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator and Firefox.

Every effort has been made to use only my own photos and drawings or those in the public domain. If a copyrighted picture has slipped by please let me know immediately so I can remove it. It is not my intention to use any photos illegally.
