Time On Our Hands
Did you hear the saying that we don't have enough time? How about time is on your side? Then there are those that say time is against you, or it's just not your time. What are they really talking about when they talk about time? What is time, do we really know? One definition of time is a nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future. While this does seem to hit the nail on the head, it just might be easier to say that time is an event that we are all inside of that is always moving forward. You must have heard of the march of time? Since the beginning of the earth, all the creatures upon the earth, including us, have been inside time. It is impossible for us to conceive of any situation where time wouldn't be involved. Such situations may exist, but we just might not be advanced enough to realize this. What would an event that is outside of time look like? In 1996, Dr. Vadim Chernobrov conducted experiments to study the physical properties of time. His experiments were conducted to study the direction, rate and sequence of time. They were conducted in the Moscow Air Institute under the supervision of Professor Zigel. They started out by looking for abnormal phenomena in the atmosphere and collected a ton of information. The data concerned all sorts of abnormal things that were found, including but not limited to UFOs .The first thing they wanted to see was if time could be sped up or slowed down. They began by measuring time in every possible way with every possible device available. Supposedly they found out that time could be slowed up as much as 1.5 seconds per hour or spent up as much as .5 seconds per hour. This may not seem like very much, but it demonstrated that time was not a rock solid commodity that we absolutely had to accept at face value. the experiments demonstrated that it was possible to travel into the future, even if it was only for 1.5 seconds. They did not demonstrate however, that it was possible to travel into the past. It has been said that a person traveling in time has a profound effect on time and time has a profound effect on the person. Some people believe that time is another dimension. Others believe that time itself has three dimensions, which are: the present, the erosion of time and speed of time. According to these theories ,the earth could either be a four dimensional world, or a six dimensional one. Dr. A A. Nassikas proposed a theory that predicts that different rates of time could produce propulsion. Perhaps that would be where zero point energy might originate from. Zero Point energy is said to be a powerful and inexhaustible energy supply. Some scientists and inventors think that it comes from another dimension. One such person is John Hutchison of Hutchison effect fame. Could there be a place, even in another dimension, were there are two forms of time traveling at different speeds? This sort of boggles our earthbound imaginations. This would be a strange place indeed and even more strange if it contained living matter. If this turns out to be true and we can somehow learn how to control two time streams at once, this just might be the way we could create true warp speed. Wouldn't that be something? It would just prove that we have been looking at propulsion from the wrong point of view. This brings up an interesting question. I wonder what would happen if a ship had a warp engine that operated on two different time streams and it exploded with people on board? Would they be killed or would they be sent back to some other era in time or even sent forward in time? This seems like a very interesting question to me. It Is said that in the 1950s, experiments were conducted by the government, at a place called Camp Hero, which was also known as Montauk Air Force Station on Montauk, Long Island, New York. Supposedly these experiments, which the government dismisses as fictional, are a continuation of the Philadelphia experiment by the remaining members of the original team. These people were formally members of the Project Rainbow team. Actually this is quite a story, it states that the team had approached Congress for funds for the development of a dramatic new weapon. They had believed that they could induce schizophrenia from a magnetic field of the type that was used around the USS Eldridge in the famous Philadelphia experiment. The story goes on to say that Congress rejected the idea stating that it would be far too expensive, They approached the military next, who approved of the idea. It is said that the military had access to over $10 billion in gold that they had recovered in World War II from the Nazis. It goes on to say that they jumped at the chance and funded the project. Some say that these people discovered a portal in time. Supposedly researchers were able to now travel back and forth in time to anywhere they wanted to go. The story goes on to state that somehow the time projection from Camp Hero intersected with the USS Eldridge and traped the Eldridge for a period of time in hyperspace and then it reappeared in 1983 at Camp Hero. Supposedly Camp Hero had 12 levels. While this has never been substantiated, there is a large hill on the base that has steel doors and no entry. I think by now that most of us know that Einstein predicted that the faster we go, the slower that time moves. Because of this, one would only need to go fast enough and he would get into the future. Going back into the past is a whole other ballgame. When we talk about time travel I am reminded of what Carl Sagan once said, "incredible claims need incredible proof". This incredible proof is very hard to come by. One experiment that was conducted in time used two atomic clocks. One was sentup aboard a satellite and that satellite orbited the Earth at at just under the speed to break the orbit. The atomic clock on the satellite had been synchronized with the atomic clock on the earth and it became noticeable, after a short period of time, that the clock in orbit was slower than the clock on the ground. Atomic clocks only lose about 1.5 seconds in 7,000,000 years. This proved Einstein's claim that we spoke about above. Will we find out that time is not as consistent as we have been led to believe? There are quite a few scientists that believe that time travel will be accomplished sometime in the future. The argument of others is that if this is true, why haven't we had visitors from the future here? This almost seems like a compelling argument, except for the fact that some sort of constraints might have been applied to time travel in the future. Maybe this time period is even off-limits. Time travel can have many consequences as the following ditty will illustrate: There was a young lady called Bright If we can accomplish time travel, will we change the present by making mistakes in the past? Hey maybe we have already, how would we ever know? |
