No it isn't an astronomy program. What it is, is a very good metasearch program. This program stands out above the metasearch crowd simply because much more thought went into designing it. The best part is that it is completely free.

There are many different types of priority searches you can perform in this little, powerful piece of software. Not only can you do a standard, search engine type search, but you can edit the engines and some of their functions. Unfortunately for most, this part of the program is not as developed and the interface may be too hard for many to figure out. Having said this, the selection of search engines and their functions seems to be just fine the way it is. There are specialized searches available and you can use some of the buttons on the tool bar to get to them. My personal favorite is the freeware button. Just describe what you are looking for in the Query area and press the freeware button and you will get a list of all freeware that will accomplish the task. I found a few shareware programs in the list too but not too many.

You can make the search list anywhere from 2 pages of results to 6 pages. You can even get the results in html if you want it. The software also has the ability to search the lists for particular words or terms. You can match pages against each other and do reference searches These are quite useful when you want to search reference libraries. There is a handy news search button and a directory search button. You can filter the search list to eliminate any excess. There is also a web search button.

Did you search for something before and forget what it was and you need to search again? Have no fear there is also a very handy history button which will list all previous searches.

You can get summaries or full list and there are some house keeping features in the drop down menus of which there are eight. They are composed of File, Edit, View, Results, Search, Tools, Options and Help. There are options available to allow you to search an engine of your choice and list it along with 12 other search engines in the search menu. There are many other minor features available through the menus.

All of your search result lists can be saved for future use.

As they say, you certainly get your money's worth in this FREE software.
