Elvis Presley
Picture Source: National Archives And Records Administration

Elvis was affectionately know as the KING. As a young man on the Ed Sullivan show he shocked a sleepy America with his gyration, but there was no denying it, the nation loved Elvis. Many people think that Elvis still lives and the next article will present their case, but for now we will look at photographs of Elvis meeting with President Nixon and we can read the released FBI files on Elvis. Elvis was very interested in his country and volunteered his services to President Nixon. He wrote a note to the president and here is the first page of that note. The entire note is six pages long.

The then President Nixon invited Elvis to the White House. Here are some pictures of his visit.

The last picture is an animation I created of the visit using the pictures that proceeded it.

The following pictures show the President meeting with the rest of the Elvis party.

Elvis Presley was never the target of an FBI investigation but files were compiled on him that amounted to 600 pages. Here are those files which were released under the Freedom of Information Act from the FBI.

The above files are in PDF format. If you don't have a pdf file reader you can Download Adobe Acrobat Here For Free.
