Many strange things have been found all over the world. Some of these things just defy explanation. They seem to be quite advanced, but at the same time they are quite ancient. How can this be, it certainly seems like a contradiction in terms? I guess we could always credit these things to space aliens and we do much of the time, but there may be a simpler explanation. or explanations. First of all, I am not sold 100% on the accuracy of carbon dating. There are things that can effect the result. An example of this was shown when the shroud was first dated. In case you don't know what I am talking about, there is a religious relic called the Shroud of Turin that is supposed to contain the likeness of Christ embedded into it, but no one can figure out how it got there. When it was first carbon dated, it was said to be from the middle ages. What the scientists didn't take into account was the fact that a fire had burned nearby changing the carbon content. When this was figured in, the date of the shroud came out to be almost an exact match for when Jesus lived. So what is my point? It is that things may have happened that have effected the objects that are being dated and the carbon dating may not be accurate in some instances. Maybe some of the objects are much older than we suspect.

We find things like an ancient ariel map of the North Pole painted on a cave wall we are astounded. Right away people start to say that this is proof than ancient aliens landed here. I ask you this question, why would an ancient astronaut paint such a map in the first place? If he was that smart, wouldn't he use a photo or some other representation. Some say that they have the answer to this question, the aliens didn't paint the map, the ancient humans did from the photos shown them by the aliens. I guess this is a possibility, but it is not the only one. I would like to ask you some 'what if' questions. What if there was a race of humans that were far more advanced than the rest, so far that they had managed to even orbit the earth or maybe fly to a few planets? What if some tragedy wiped them all out and as the last of them were dying he or she realized that no one would ever know that they even existed? What if one of them decided to paint an ariel picture of the North Pole on the cave wall in hopes that someday it would be discovered and people would realize that there had been an advanced culture on the earth before us? Isn't this just as possible as space aliens having done it?

I have always been intrigued by the rock that was millions of years old that contained a transistor inside of it. Many strange things have been found in rocks and coal. So many objects have been found in coal that some scientists are now saying that under the right conditions they believe that coal could be formed in as little as thirty or forty years. I think that I would have to see this to believe it. We know that in the lab we can form diamonds in about 4 hours, but this is in machines that are capable of huge pressures. Whether this type of pressure could be found in the earth is yet to be proved. People have found many different pieces of jewelry in coal, some of which seemed to be only a couple of hundred years old. I remember one piece of coal that fell on a stone floor and broke and inside it was a Roman nail. We know the age of the nail unless some other, more ancient race, used the same type of nails and we didn't know it. The transistor inside the rock really bugs me, it is just so crazy. The rock was over a million years old. Was there some civilization on this earth that was at least as advanced as we are that existed a million years ago or longer? It certainly is possible. If this is so, what happened to them? Maybe there was a great nuclear war and they were bombed back to the stone age. Another possibility is that there was some worldwide catastrophe that destroyed everything. By now, nothing would remain.

What are we supposed to think about those strange paintings that are found on rocks and inside caves that seem to depict men in space suits? If you ask some people they will say that these are representations of alien astronauts by ancient man. What if this isn't true and these pictures represent an advanced race of man that lived on earth and for some reason was seen in a space suit by less advanced peoples? Who knows, maybe it was a space suit test, we do things like that all the time. The ancient primitive people seeing this might have thought that they were gods and painted their pictures, who knows?

When ancient stones are found that have pictures painted on them, it peaks the interest of many people, but when ancient stones are found that depict man and dinosaur together and the dinosaurs are drawn correctly, it is downright scary. The Dropa stones are stones that have paintings on them that have been calculated to be at least 25,000 years old. Much too old for anyone living in that time to know about dinosaurs. Even if they found bones, they never would have know what the animal looked like and known of the many different species of dinosaurs that had been depicted. The stones were recovered from ancient tombs and there are many thousands of them. Each one shows a different scene. Some show humans actually riding dinosaurs. In the beginning the stones were not accepted by science as being genuine, but they were never given a formal examination either. Like so many things in this world, they were just judged on their content. Today a few in the scientific community think that they are telling us something, but most scientists refuse to have anything to do with the stones. Oh the pity of it. No one wants to examine them because if they do and find that they are genuine, they will be laughed out of science, so the stones remain in their small museum. and what could be a huge addition to the history or man, or not, goes unconfirmed and unexamined.

If science is right and we, as humans, have only been around for a couple of million years at most on this earth, who is to say that this is the first time around? The earth is many billions of years old, humans or at least an advanced race or races could have existed many times in the past. I don't understand why scientists are so narrow minded on this point? I am not looking for them to agree that it is true, just that it is a possibility. Once it is admitted, then it makes it a lot easier to examine the strange pieces of evidence that might indicate that this is true. Unfortunately this subject is treated on the same level as ufos. When I see something treated in such a manner, I can't help but feel that maybe something is being hidden from us. Why would such a fact as a previous race of man on earth be hidden? I can't answer that, but there is a distinct possibility that it could be. Maybe it would be for the same reasons that the government wouldn't tell us if ufos existed, they think we are not ready for it and it would destroy the social fabric of civilization. Sorry but that is just so much baloney.

Maybe we are the first human or intelligent race to be spawned on earth, but maybe not. Maybe there were a hundred races before us, or maybe only one or two, who knows and how do you prove it? There are certainly indications that this is true, but the evidence is what is know as circumstantial and as they say in court, you can't convict on just circumstantial evidence. One final word, maybe we wouldn't even recognize them as intelligent since they may have looked entirely different. Maybe one of what we believe to be dinosaurs was intelligent.
