We have talked about this subject before, but I would like to discuss it again. The subject is time travel. If time travel existed it would solve many of the Earthly mysteries we now face. But does it exist? We really have no way of knowing. For now though, let us suppose that it was discovered sometime in our future. To make this even better, let's say that it happened at least five hundred years from now. Why would I want that? Because this would account for some very advanced technology. Many people think that time travel is impossible or that if it was possible that we would have met some travelers already. To these people I have to say how would you know, after all they would look like us and I am sure they would be instructed not to do or say anything that would give them away? I am also sure that they wouldn't have anything on their persons from the future because this could alter that future if we found these devices but this might not be true, we will discuss this more later on.

Einstein talked about time slowing down the faster we traveled. He said that people in a space ship traveling at the speed of light would experience time completely different than those on Earth, time dilation would take place. So in a way we see that people can move forward in time. Now think of this, somehow future generations have figured out how to travel way faster than the speed of light, and I know this is a stretch but please allow me some latitude because this is a though exercise, and the next thing they figured out is how to get the same effect without actually getting into a ship. Could this be possible in the future? How could any reasonable person say no? But we have a bigger problem here and that is how do you travel backward through time? Forward is much easier because you sort of slow down and allowed time to flow past you, but how do you reverse it? Without being able to reverse time, people from the future would never be able to visit us.

Ok, so if we even go as far to say that these future people are visiting us, how does this account for anything unusual? Well the first thing that comes to my mind are ufo sightings. Just imagine a ship load of people from the future visiting Earth. They may not ever land but they fly around looking at all the sights. Maybe some big event happened 50 or 100 years from now and they are interested in seeing how this came about. An example of this would be some sort of nuclear war, so they would be interested in seeing our nuclear facilities. Well it just so happens that ufos are often sighted above and around nuclear plants and defense facilities.

One thing you always hear about is how easily the future can be changed. But what if this isn't true? What if the future remains essentially the same future no matter what is altered in the past. Maybe something altered in the past was meant to be altered. If this were true than the time travelers wouldn't have to worry about altering the past and would have a much freer hand to do what they want. This would explain even more. These so called time travelers could have helped build the pyramids and the Sphinx and some of those mysterious South American cities. This would also explain some of the objects that were found that are ancient yet totally in the wrong time period. I am talking about things like the geared computer from Greece that dated back about 3,000 years or the ancient building in China with all the iron pipes running through it from 5,000 years ago or the rock that had a transistor in the center of it that was millions of years old.

Another thing we may find out about time is that it might be different in different areas of space. As absurd as this sounds, it could be influenced by things we already know about, such as black holes, worm holes etc. Imagine if there are some areas somewhere in space where different times exist at once. This might change our entire perception of how we think of time. Maybe future people discovered this and figured out how to use the principle to travel through time. Another thought, maybe future generations are influencing us on purpose. Maybe by making past generations more advanced they make themselves more advanced. What if there are holes in time even now. That might account for some of the people that go missing every year and are never found. Some of the many reports of ghosts might be people trapped in time.

Picture this, an interstellar war is raging sometime in our future. We are either losing or it is a tie, what do we do? Time travel already exists so someone has the bright idea to advance technology in the past which will lead to advanced technology in the future. But here is the ringer, the other side also has time travel and is doing the same thing. You have to wonder what the outcome of something like this would be. The results would seem to have always been there. If these travelers went back to the 19 century and advanced it's technology then this would be advancing ours and we wouldn't even realize what was happening.

So could future races be traveling back in time to visit us, it might be possible, but it might not. Does that clear things up?
