Contrails, we see them in the sky all the time. Some people believe that some contrails are proof of alien ships plying our atmosphere. Other people believe that some of these trails are left by secret government aircraft and still others think that they might be the result of some type of creatures living in our atmosphere. Well I guess that I would have to dismiss the creature theory immediately, I just can't swallow that one. If you believe that it may be true, that is your belief, but I would need to see some hard evidence of this before I believe that it is anything more than a guess. When I look up at these things, sometimes I wonder if they are all water vapor as we have been told, or are some more insidious than that. When we think about secret aircraft that might be flying in our air, we must think of secret methods of propulsion and secret fuel mixtures. What makes us think that these would produce only water vapor, perhaps they might even be harmful in enough of a concentration?

I decided to look into this as best as I could and I discovered a test that was done in 1999 by the New Mexico Science Resources, Air and Water Quality Division. I am not sure how you test a contrail, whether it be by spectroscope analysis or by actually catching some of this stuff and doing a chemical analysis on it. Well I wasn't sure until I read these test results. Apparently they were able to actually get some of this stuff and do a chemical analysis. It turned out that there were large quantities of dihydrogen monoxide in the test samples. Over eighty tests were conducted and the amount of dihydrogen monoxide remained the same. This chemical maybe toxic, but more on that later. The agency listed documented findings of this chemical:."Several deaths are confirmed due to ingestion of high concentrations of the liquid phase. Symptoms included rapid cessation of breathing, and death in 3-10 minutes. Corrodes equipment, can destroy steel containers over periods of months to year. When found in gaseous phase, will cause severe 3rd-degree burns to any exposed areas. Direct exposure of bare skin to the solid phase can lead to convulsions, loss of body parts, and even death". This made me wonder, what type of aircraft puts out dihydrogen monoxide? Before I get into this, let me tell you about something that I did find out that really surprised me. Apparently the rover on Mars has found dihydrogen monoxide on the red planet. What dihydrogen monoxide really is, is Hydrogen Oxide, according to one source. Now get this, supposedly claims of dihydrogen monoxide killing people is all a prank and many people suggest that dihydrogen monoxide is just another name for water. You can find tons of people on both sides of the fence. The people that believe that it is deadly are easily found. You can go to websites like DHMO.org, http://www.netreach.net/~rjones/no_dhmo.html and many others. On the other side of the fence are sites like http://www.msnbc.msn.com who claim the whole thing is a hoax. Well I guess it could be a hoax, but if it is, about half of the people are involved in it and the other half are involved in contradicting it.

Back to contrails. There is another opinion that states that from time to time, things are sprayed on us by contrails. It goes on to say that chemicals are tested on us without our knowledge by the powers that be. Some people say that the U.S. government would never allow us to be used as Guinea Pigs, but others cite various instances where people were used in just such a way without the government ever lifting a hand to stop it. They cite the Tuskegee project were the U.S. Government was supposed to treat people for syphilis. The study went on for 40 years and instead of treating these people, they just observed most of them. It was a shameful black mark on us as a people. In more modern times, government scientists gave lsd to unknowing subjects to observe their reactions. There were more tests that I won't go into here, but I think that you get the picture. So these people who claim that we are being sprayed with test chemicals think that since the government had no qualms about testing humans in the past, they still have none and if someone gets sick or dies that is just the price of progress.

A Lot Of Contrails

One group has stated that they believe that the government has sprayed a test chemical over the midwest that is supposed to defeat some of the germs that would be used in a biological attack and this spray appears as a contrail. At first glance this might look like a good thing to some people, but you have to remember that spraying any chemical, no matter how noble its purpose, for the purpose of testing it is a terrible thing to do to unsuspecting people who have not given their approval. Everything has side effects and test medicine of any nature might do more harm to the population than good. I would hate to find out that this is being done behind our backs, wouldn't you? It is said that some reports are based on the fact that someone saw a plane produce a contrail and then they said that they got sick. This kind of thing is not sufficient to prove anything.

There are several government projects that investigate contrails, such as AEAP (Atmospheric Effects of Aviation Project) and SUCCESS (SUbsonic aircraft Contrail & Clouds Effects Special Study). Since these are government programs, many people do not trust their claimed findings. This is true when places like the Environmental News Service publishes stories, such as the one they published in 1999 stating that "Contrails Mystify, Sicken Americans by William Thomas". The article went on to say that jets formed elaborate cross hatch patterns. Why are these patterns being used by the jets, is it to cover more area with their sprays as some believe? I don't have an answer to this, but it certainly does look suspicious. So what did the article say that the military response was about these events? According to the article, an Air Force spokesman said that the military aircraft were dumping fuel before landing. Gee, I didn't know that they dumped fuel in a cross hatch pattern, did you? The article goes on to state that some people actually get a taste in their mouth from this and some lose all their energy and feel sick.

So could it be true that the government is spraying some areas with chemicals, or could there be another explanation? I guess that there could always be another explanation. for almost anything and this is no exception. Military jet fuel does contain an element in its makeup that can make people sick and I guess if enough fuel is dumped, some of that element might conceivably reach the ground, but this does seem to be a long reach. The problem with analyzing the contrails is not actually analyzing them, it is the disinformation that is released, making everything so muddled that the average person can't figure out what is true and what is not, so most of us just quit trying to understand what is going on, making this perfect for anyone that wants to experiment on us. Lets hope that there is nothing going on and that the contrail issue is a tempest in a teapot. I have to add that I wouldn't be surprised if there is really something to this however.
