Here we are the people of the world. People that have no special contacts in government, and no hooks as they are called and nobody in a position of power that will do or tell us anything. We account for 99% of everybody. We are the average world citizens. We are the ones that you find everywhere. The problem with being in this 99% is that you really don't get any respect from those in power or those that have a say in the way things are run. How can people like us ever expect to know the score? When we are told things, we are told what THEY want us to hear. Sometimes the statement we are told is a lie, sometimes it contains some truth and sometimes, if it suits THEIR purpose, we are told the most of the truth. I guess you think by now that I am getting paranoid. Let me assure you that what I am telling you is the whole truth and nothing but. We live during a time where misinformation and disinformation is at it's peak. I am convinced that there has never been a time in history where information is available everywhere and where it is being manipulated at a breakneck pace. Having so much information at our fingertips is a wonderful thing, but it also leads to abuse of information by some people, some governments and some organizations.

Sometimes getting too much information is not such a good thing. It would be if people would leave it alone, but the tendency is to take good information and make it suit the needs of others. Let me tell you there are all sorts of agendas out there. Let's look at one of them now. NASA is one of the most famous organizations in the world. They have probes out everywhere. These probes are sending back huge streams of information. Nowhere in the history of man has so much data been sent to any entity. The data includes visible light photographs, infrared, measurements and much more. Sometimes when you are getting this much data and you have the responsibility to make the data available to the public, who is watching for this stuff, you get things that you have second thoughts about showing to people for various reasons. NASA is no exception to this. Some very strange things have come back in the photos of Mars and the Moon. There is also strange data that has been received, that indicated some very unusual things. When this stuff started the people at NASA must have had a fit. I can see them all sitting around wondering what to do. They certainly didn't want us to know that they had photographed certain areas on the Moon that seemed to indicate that there were abandoned structures there. So what did NASA do to prevent this from happening? They decided to start a campaign to try and limit the amount of new info that we would get. To accomplish this, it is said by some that photos are being altered, inferior resolutions are being used on cameras and ever some measurements are suspected of being false.

This type of thing doesn't end here. So called experts are brought in to shoot down anyone that is in the public eye that espouses things like ruins on the moon or a face on Mars or any thing of this nature. The way that this is done is sometimes brutal for those that are in the scientific field. An example of this might be a famous scientist stating that the face on Mars is an artificial structure. This guy might have funding cut off and might even get shut out from important jobs. On top of this they would usually be ridiculed and made to look very foolish. It is a very risky business for a professional person to disagree with the powers at NASA. There has been much testimony to the fact that many NASA photos show signs of airbrushing. On top of this they have been stretched, flipped, crushed and who knows what else, in an attempt to hide some of the data that they are showing. Even with all this manipulation of data, there seems to be slightly more info available every year. Will there be a time when enough info is available to show what is really going on? I certainly hope so, but it seems that it will take quite a while before this ever happens, if it ever does. So here we are with this flood of info and yet, most of the stuff that is really of interest to scientists and lay people that are interested in the planets and the moon, is not being released in its original form. There is even some data that suggests that one of the moons going around Mars, it has 2, Phobos might be 1/3rd hollow and this is not something that we expect to have occurred naturally.

NASA is only one example of a government agency that seems to have a lot to hide. As time goes by and we find out that more and more things that we were told by the government were false, we begin to see that sometimes events are manipulated to fulfill an official purpose. I have talked about this before, but I have to mention this again. Things used to be much simpler, when something happened and you found out about it, you actually had a chance of finding out the truth. Today everything is twisted to suit the needs of those that are either in power or while not in power themselves are never the less powerful in their own right. Sometimes something bizarre happens. An event gets twisted two opposite ways. One power group wants to send their message while another wants to send theirs. One message that is sent may be meant to make someone look very good while another may be for the exact opposite reason. Look at the message that was sent to us on Iraq. One side sent a message that the war in Iraq was started to give Freedom to the Iraqi people and to stop Saddam from using weapons of mass destruction. The other side said there was no weapons of mass destruction and the only reasons that we went into Iraq was for revenge on Saddam by the Bush family and to get the oil. I leave it to you people to decide which side was right if any.

I personally think that the people in power, the politicians, have gotten too cruel and much too selfish. Politics was always a dirty game, but it has seemed to have deteriorated even more and now is at the point where if someone died, no one on the other side would care and might even celebrate. When I saw what happened in the last couple of elections it made me sick. Can you imagine campaign workers calling up people and telling them that the voting had been changed to the next day, calling other people and telling them that they were ineligible to vote for some reason and not to go to the polls and even taking other people to supposedly vote and dropping them off at the wrong places. All this is despicable and these people should be punished by being charged with violations of civil liberties and if convicted, sent to jail. As far as I know, no one was ever charged with anything. I don't care what political party people belong to, they should never condone this type of behavior, it only hurts everyone in the long run. The people that do this type of thing are always the first ones to complain about what other's are doing. Sometimes they even make up stories that aren't true to smear the names of people. Again, this should be stopped, even by those who are of the same party. People have to show that they have morals. This country was founded on morals, but you would never know it today.

The last point I would like to touch on is incompetence. Why is it that people that are in power seem to have no compulsion about putting someone in charge of an important agency that they know is incapable of handling anything more than a one man office, if that? That is such a disservice to the American citizens who depend on these agencies for services. One has only to look at the FDA, USDA, FEMA and other agencies to see what I am talking about. FEMA let everyone in New Orleans down. They didn't get there on time, couldn't get the water and rations to the people there on time and then on top of all that, bought 45,000 trailers that had poisonous insulation in them. What kind of people do we have running things? Are we so strapped for administrators that we have to scrape the bottom of the barrel? Look at the FDA and USDA who are charged with guarding our food supply. Scandals are popping up every day. People are eating contaminated foods, because the inspections of food are so bad. What excuse is given? It goes something like this, "there are so many foreign food factories that it would take 1800 years to inspect them all". Excuse me folks, but I have never head a bigger bunch of garbage in my life. If a factory is not inspected and inspected at least once a year, don't get food from it. It is not as though we have no other food sources. There are certainly not enough inspections, but there are far too many excuses.
