FRAUDULENT EMAIL

These EMAILS are NOT FROM ABOUT FACTS, they are A FRAUD

I have tried to have these emails stopped, but like so many other sites that are much bigger than mine, such as Chase Bank, Amazon.com, PayPal, Ebay and others, I have found that there is just no way to stop this. It is important to never respond to any email, no matter what company it states it is from, by clicking on links and giving information, including buying things with a credit card.

Dear Valued Member,

According to our terms of services, you will have to confirm your e-mail by the following link or your account will be suspended within 24 hours for security reasons.

Thank you for your attention to this request. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,Aboutfacts Security Department

THIS EMAIL IS NOT FROM ABOUT FACTS, IT IS A FRAUD

If you receive this email DO NOT click on the link

It is a shame that these emails are continuously sent out from somewhere in Africa. There is no way to stop them. Lately, I have been getting about 8 of these emails on any given day. Remember this, we have NO security department and I only send emails to people that write me first.

Here are some of the other criminal emails that are going out and pretending to be from About Facts Net:

1 support@aboutfacts.net
2 admin@aboutfacts.net
3 mail@aboutfacts.net
4 service@aboutfacts.net
5 administrator@aboutfacts.net < This comes with two different message titles
6 webmaster@aboutfacts.net < unfortunately this is an address I really use but not with the same message line
7 ken@aboutfacts.net

To See The Actual Fraud Emails That Claim To Be From Me Click Here, but don't open any attachments, they could have a virus. The mail is in Mozilla Thunderbird format but you should be able to read it with most mail programs.

Please remember there are no accounts on About Facts Net and I will never send out any mail to notify anyone of anything. We have no security department so if you get any mail from them it is a fraud. I send out very few emails and then only to answer emails that were sent to me. I will never ask for money, computer time sharing or any thing like that. The bottom line is that if you didn't send me an email then the email you may have gotten from About Facts Net is most likely a fraud. It is easy to tell because it will have a link to click on or an attachment to open. I would never send this type of email.
