There are many theories out there that state that we have much more technology than we, the common people, are aware of. It is even said that some of it would be of great benefit to us in many areas. If this is true, then why haven't we been getting it? If one takes the health field, for example, curing certain diseases would not be very profitable for the drug companies. I am not saying that these companies are keeping better drugs from us, but think about it. Would it be more profitable for a drug company to be able to invent a pill that you would have to take regularly to control a disease, than a one shot pill that would cure it? There are some people out there on the net, that are claiming that cancer was cured many years ago but it is such a cash cow that a cure will never be given to us.

Lets look at automobiles next. It is said that an automobile can be made that wouldn't get damaged much, if at all, in a crash and still would protect its occupants from injury. If this is true than why aren't we driving this type of car? The auto companies make much more on individual parts than they do on a new car. You could buy four new cars for the price of building one from parts. Why would any auto company want to give this up?

Another area we are said to be much more ahead in than the common person knows, is energy production. Between hydro power, wind power, surf power, fuel cells and hydrogen fuel it is said by some, that we could eliminate fossil fuels. Now I ask you, do you think for one second that these rich oil companies and their investors who are some of the most powerful people in the world are going to let this happen? Just take a look at President Bush's new hydrogen proposal. He wants to be able to switch to hydrogen powered cars in the future. Sounds good, doesn't it? If you said yes, I couldn't blame you because you don't fully understand. There are two ways of producing hydrogen. One is from water but the other is from fossil fuel. President Bush is proposing that we use fossil fuel to produce hydrogen. This will do two things, the first is increase our dependence on fossil fuels and the second is continue the pollution, since the plants making the fuel will be polluters. We will have lost the advantage of using hydrogen. There is also much talk about something that physics says is impossible, a device that will put out more energy than it takes to operate.

We are beginning to manipulate some very tiny things. Things that make up the very material of this world, things that are extremely hard to understand. I am talking about quantum mechanics and quantum electronics. It is said that a quantum computer would be at least 1,000 times more powerful than the most powerful computer in use today. Some say we already have this computer and it is being used by the military. Who can say if this is true or not?

When we get into the field of weapons development, the U.S. is said to have some fantastic weapons that are not know to the general public. This is an area that we can neither prove or disprove since the military is great at keeping secrets and giving out disinformation. One thing the we are supposed to have, according to some books, is a death ray which was pioneered by the famous scientist Tesla. He went to the government when he heard they were going to develop an atom bomb and tried to get them to try his death ray. They ignored him, but when he died they went to his hotel room and took all of his notes. They still deny this to this day. The legend goes that Tesla tested the ray by firing it at Tangusta, in Siberia, causing the famous demolition of huge areas of forest. We are also said to have perfected lasers that can shoot down satellites, planes and rockets but we are keeping the development program going to funnel the funds into other areas. Along with these developments are new space planes and other futuristic weapons.

Some people are saying that ufos are really machines built by our military and that the talk about space aliens and extraterrestrial machines is just more disinformation. If this is true that we are much further advanced than we suspect. They go on to say that we have a secret space program run by the air force and we have been flying to the Moon and Mars for years and that we have extensive bases on the moon. The fault I find with this in particular are all the sightings over nuclear bases. Why would we spy on ourselves? It is common knowledge in space circles that we now have a material that is super light and can easily replace tiles on vehicles for reentry, but we may also have an electronic shield that goes around the vehicle and blocks heat and maybe even radiation.

So are we way more advanced than we suspect? The answer is maybe. I know this doesn't do much for your curiosity but at the moment it is the best answer I can come up with. I know we have things that are secret, any one will agree with that, but what exactly are they? There're secret so I can't answer that but we have given you are best guesses above. Some of the things I mentioned are very true while some of the other things are assumed true while still others are educated guesses. For example, the gel that replaces heat tiles does exist, but it might have other uses that we know nothing about.
