Well I made the famous New York City St. Patrick's Day parade and it was mobbed. Due to security many of the streets leading down to the parade were closed. The streets you could get down to the parade on were chuck a block (packed). Here are a few pictures of the event for those of you that couldn't make it. The pictures are not the best but you can get an idea of the crowds from them. It was estimated that 150,000 people marched and 2,000,000 people watched. I was so far behind people that these pictures were taken by holding the camera over my head, that's why some of them are at such a ridiculous angle. |
