Well I guess some people just shouldn't marry each other. A loving Pennsylvania couple decided to get married and everything was going just fine, until they got into an argument after the wedding. The groom decided to end the argument by karate kicking his bride, of a few minutes and she landed up on the floor of the reception hall. When other guests saw this, they decided they had better help her and that is when she attacked them. Their wedding night was spent in separate cells at the county jail. It sounds to me that this was not a marriage made in heaven. Either the bride better take self defense classes, or it is time for a divorce.

Well, I guess to each his own. Remember how the Romans used to love to watch people being killed by wild animals? Oh that is an historical fact. Do you think that humans have grown out of this type of thing? I did, but now I am not so sure. The British are proving that many of them are descendants of the ancient Romans. It seems that many British tourists have made a certain Indian wildlife preserve a tourist attraction. They are willing to drop two hundred dollars each, to watch a tethered cow, being attacked by lions and eaten, while they snack on sandwiches at picnic tables, near the gory sight. I know a cow is not a human. It isn't the fact that a helpless cow is being mauled and killed, it is the fact that this would fall under enjoyment that bothers me. Speaking about wild animals and such, the Dublin Zoo employees are really getting annoyed. Lately they have been getting thousands of calls that they have to answer, from people giving their names as C. Lion, G. Raffe and Anna Conda. Some people even had the nerve to call themselves Rory Lion.

I think that everyone on the planet knows about Google. They also have at least an idea of what they do. That is what makes this even stranger. News has come out that Google has registered a couple of new domain names. What, you think that this is not unusual? Please hold your opinion until I tell you what the domain names are. The first one is bayareaburritos.com and the second is thesecretofburritos.com. Are we looking at a company that is secretly going into the food business? You have to admit that this is very strange.

Criminal trials are usually mostly the same, in this country, when they pertain to specific crimes. Let's take a murder trial for example. You usually need a body and some sort of evidence and maybe a witness or two to the crime wouldn't hurt. A man was found guilty of murder, in a California murder trial. Sorry California, but after watching some trials from there I am convinced that anything can happen. Back to the trial in question, a man was found guilty of murder even though there was no body, no crime scene, no reliable witnesses and no physical evidence.

I bet you didn't know this, but about one percent of the U.S. population is named Smith. There are 3.4 million of them, this is an increase from the 2.5 million that there were in 1990.

House fires are not unusual. I should say that they usually are not unusual, because the one that I am going to tell you about was. One poor guy was asleep in his bed, when he saw what he thought were flashing lights. He soon realized the the lights were not lights at all, but flames. He looked around and didn't seen any flames in the house and the smoke alarms didn't go off, so he thought that the fire must have been taking place outside. He was wrong, his roof was on fire and the insulation was preventing the smoke from getting into the house. He realized this when the fire department go to his house. The fire chief stated that he never saw anything like this before.

It sounded good on paper. Establish a fund to help victims of violent crimes. One of our eastern states did just that. There are funds like this in quite a few states as a matter of fact, but in this state, things are a little different. Somehow, big money has been paid to deceased people. I would like to know how you do this? It also seems that many of the criminals are also reaping this windfall. Even a sex offender, who was beaten to death in prison was sent money, along with carjackers and gang fight causalities. Why is all this happening? Well part of it is the courts in that state. They have ruled that if a person in not engaged in a crime at the time he or she was injured, they are entitled to compensation. If we get into federal programs we find that many sexual predators are being funded in prison, so that they can take college courses. That is just what we need, more educated sexual offenders! Remember this the next time you try and get financial aid for your children for college.

He had a great job as jobs go. He was a banker in London and was making about 160,000 pounds per year. This was not exactly chicken feed. The problem was that he didn't want to be a banker, he always wanted to be a carpenter. He realized that this would be a drastic drop in salary, but he thought that being happy was more important than monetary considerations, so he quit the banking business. He decided to get a master carpenter to tutor him, only to find out that whenever he got near raw wood, his eyes would itch and tear. He finally went to a doctor, who told him that he had bad news for him, HE WAS ALERGIC TO WOOD.

Some towns have had to reduce their speed limits drastically to prevent street racing. One town in Canada had just put the new laws into effect, when a policeman noticed a vehicle speeding through the town. He chased it and pulled it over. The vehicle was a garbage truck. He gave the driver a ticket for racing.

Things can be very strange in Russia. A priest in Russia was asked to bless a building. When he asked what kind of building it was, he was told that it was a ballet school. I guess he should have noticed that there was several poles on the stage, a bar and a lot of chairs. It turns out that the place was a strip club. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why the club wanted a priest to bless it, but I can tell you this, the owner said that since the blessing, business has increased substantially.

A thirteen year old boy has just applied to the Guinness World Records after blowing up 213 balloons in an hour. Oh you think that you can do better? Maybe you will change your mind after I tell you that he used his nose? Guinness has some crazy world records, but here is one that has to disturb you. It is the record for the most cockroaches eaten. It is thirty six in one minute. This makes the record for the longest leg hair seem tame. By the way that is five inches.

I am a hockey fan and I would like to close this article telling you what some Stanley Cup winners did with the cup. The Stanley Cup is the highest award you can get in hockey, only a team that beats all the other teams in the playoffs, is allowed to hold the cup for a year. I am not going to name anyone, because it would diminish how some people feel about them, but I would like to tell you that one of the New York Islanders on one of the cup teams let his dog eat out of it. One of the Ducks did the same thing. A New York Ranger on a winning team, took it to the Belmont race track and let Kentucky Derby winner Go For Gin eat out of it. So much for respecting the greatest trophy in hockey.
