Secret Russian Projects

We have talked about secret government projects a few times on this site. I thought it might be interesting to talk about secret Russian projects for a change. The U.S. government is certainly not the only country with secret projects.

The EKIP Project: It is said that the Russians are working on a vehicle, in secret, that will send chills down the collective spines of Boeing and Air Bus. We all know that the Russians are very good at building planes but they may have outdone themselves this time. The talk is that professor Schukin, working with specialists form the aviation and space rocket branches of industry have developed a totally new kind of aircraft. It is a craft that flies just above the ground but hits speeds of over 400 mph and can carry up to 100 tons. This vehicle doesn't require anything special. It can land at any airfield, even the short private ones. It is said that when it has a full load, it needs only 660 yards to take off. Essentially it rides on a cushion of air and because of this, it can land on water too. It doesn't need the thick concrete runways that most heavy planes require. The vehicle looks like an oblong saucer flying sideways. The vehicle has already flown over the Saratov Airfield in a test. Vehicles that 'fly' slightly off the ground have been tested in Russia for years. This vehicles has a multi fuel system. It can use traditional fuel or gas. It should be cheap to fly using auxiliary dual generator turboshaft engines. Does this vehicle have any relation to a saucer built in Russia that both the U.S. and China have bought rights to? This is unknown at the moment. Could this replace the train?

Secret Subway: Another secret project that was begun during the Cold War may, or may not, be continuing. It was a subway that was being constructed near the residence of the then president, Yelsin. This was being constructed outside Moscow. What makes this subway so unique is the fact that it is being designed to protect against nuclear attack and ensure the continuance of government should a nuclear attack occur.

Russian Psychotronics Projects: It seems that both east and west have secret projects for hypnotizing people. This is actually accomplished by electrical brain stimulation. It is said that some times this has dire results. The Americans are trying to use this technique on single individuals while the Russians are experimenting with the use of this en mass. They use devices like telephone, electric and cable wires to send the hypnotic suggestions. One soldier who received such a suggestion was said to have been paralyzed and speechless for over a year.

The SS-27 project: This project was continued after the fall of the Russian economy. It went into production in December of 1998. It is a missile which is designed to defeat any nation's anti missile capacity but even more important, it was designed to become a multiple war head missile, if desired. At the time it was deployed it was the only maneuverable nuclear reentry vehicle in the world and may still be today.

The Yamantau Mountain Project: This is very puzzling for the fact that over 6 billion dollars has been poured into it during a time when the Russian economy was teetering on the brink of disaster. A huge building complex of nuclear bomb resistant buildings has been built that many believe could only be of use in a first strike capacity. How big is this complex? Two cities of 60,000 people each were constructed for the workers of this project. Speculation as to it's purpose continued for many years. I don't know if we ever discovered that.

The Teller Bomb Project: It is said that the Russians were working on refining weapons and to this end they had a secret project to develop a new bomb that had 10,000 times the force of the biggest hydrogen bomb. It was called the Teller bomb and was supposed to consist of anti matter. I find this too hard to believe. Even if the project existed, I don't see how they could have gotten enough anti matter for their project. Anti matter can be produced but in such minute quantities that it would take hundreds of years to get enough material for a bomb unless some new technique was discovered for developing this material. Assuming that this hurtle could be overcome, where could you use such a weapon? If you had a 100 megaton nuclear weapon and this was 10,000 times more powerful, might you not destroy the Earth if you used it?

Phobos I: Phobos I, while itself not secret, had a security clamp put over it. It was a probe that was to explore Mars, but something had gone wrong those 17 years ago and it just stopped sending. Supposedly the last transmission of the probe was smuggled out of Russia. It was said that the probe sent a photo of a huge cylindrical spaceship that was estimated to be over 20 km long. That is about 12 miles in length. The shadow of this huge ship could be seen on the surface of Mars. The probe disappeared and the Russians classified the whole thing as top secret.

Hurricane Gun: Do the Russians have secret equipment for creating hurricanes? Pravda has a story that it published, dated September 30, 2005, that has an American meteorologist accusing that country's military specialists of causing storms and in particular Katrina. It is a common fact that the former Soviet Union had secret projects for trying to control the weather, as no doubt does the U.S. One of the reasons for this accusation was the statement by Vladimir Zhirlinovsky in which he threatened to unleash floods all over the U.S. and have his scientists change the earth's gravity field. Zhirinovsky was the head of the Liberal Democratic Party in Russia. It is believed that the secret projects for controlling the weather still exist today and are going ahead full force.

Someone once said that there is nothing as fleeting as a military secret. All countries have their secrets, and the more advanced the country, the more advanced the secret. There were probably more secrets between the U.S. and the Soviet Union during the Cold War period then there were secret projects from the beginning of time. Of course there were quite a few secrets being kept between the allies and axis powers during World War II also. I guess there will always be secret projects and military secrets because that is the nature of man, a creature that never seems to learn that peace is much better than war.
