The question has haunted us ever since we could think. We have tried to pin down how far back man goes but every time we think we have found the answer, we find something to indicate that origin of man goes back further than we thought. Back, back, back into the mists of time we have gone without satisfaction. We may find that we can't really answer that question or maybe we will find proof that man didn't evolve on Earth but came from somewhere else. As outrageous as that sounds, there is always the possibility that it is true. Could we find that man didn't always live on the surface of this planet but when times were much harsher he lived under the earth in tunnels and deep shafts? If that were true it might explain the fact that artifacts have been found deep underground. It could turn out that man is a very ancient race but nobody knows it. I can't wait to hear the flack I'll catch for saying this by those who would gladly point out to me that the oldest bones and relics found counter indicate this. I am saying that maybe we don't have all the evidence. This might be because you just can't go back beyond a certain point since the Earth is so geologically active. What I mean by this is that after a certain period of time any evidence to indicate man's presence beyond this point would surely have been destroyed. There is that other interesting question, did Neanderthal man and modern man exist at the same time? Scientists are convinced they did but that modern man came along after Neanderthal man had been around for a couple of hundred thousand years. I always did find problems with this. It always seemed to me that Neanderthal man was better equipped for hunting and surviving. He was stronger and could take the rigors of bad weather better. True he probably wasn't as smart. How did modern man get here, and where exactly did Neanderthal man go? Some scientists say that we all have some Neanderthal in us, it shows up in our genes. This would mean that Neanderthal man was bred out of existence. I just have a hard time believing this. Others say that modern man, because of his superior brain, used the assets to survive that Neanderthal man needed and they died out. Wouldn't you think that somewhere there would have to be some left? Maybe this would be on a remote island or some inaccessible place. I think that it might be more likely that a disease that only Neanderthal man was susceptible to wiped them out, and it may have been a disease carried by modern humans. I know this might sound crazy but it certainly would account for their disappearance. Can't you see it, every time a Neanderthal came in contact with a modern man he was doomed. This would not be the only time this has happened. The Europeans spread many diseases when they came to the New World and while they didn't totally wipe out the native population, they killed many of them. As for the breeding theory, I sort of think that many modern men would have been repulsed by Neanderthal women and their ape like appearance, but who knows? Stone tipped spear There is a story that archeologists that were digging in Ethiopia were startled beyond belief when they found that they had discovered bones of humans that dated back almost 6 million years. Of course there is no way to verify the truth of this story, but it might be true. A lot of things are kept from us because the powers that be feel we are not ready to hear the truth. I am not saying that this story is true, just that it could be. It was said that the bones were from a humanoid. Here is where I find another problem, but I know you scientific types won't agree with me. Scientists are picking up bits of ancient bone and saying this is the ancestor of man and that is the ancestor of man and so on. These same people just realized a couple of years ago that they had the wrong heads on some of the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History in New York for many years. Hey, just because you find a head near a pile of bones doesn't mean that it is the correct head. How do we know for sure that they got it right now? Astronomy went on for thousands of years with the wrong information. People believed that the Earth was at the center of the solar system. Maybe the theory of evolution will be shown to be wrong in some or all cases. Now I really got those scientific types mad. Sure they will say the evidence to support evolution is overwhelming but it is much easier to make things fit into a theory than to question it. Who knows, maybe evolution is correct for most things but man came from somewhere else, Mars perhaps. Sound far fetched? In this modern era, one thing that we know for sure is that we really don't know. There are a lot of theories out there that say that maybe man was a lot more advanced and something catastrophic happened to him that set him back and now he is just getting back to where he was. Is there any evidence to indicate this? It just so happens that there might be. In one Egyptian temple there is an ancient drawing on the wall of a jet plane, a helicopter and a ufo. These drawings are thousands of years old. The jet plane has been built as a model to the exact proportions as stated in the picture and it flies perfectly. How can this be? Is life on Earth recycling through the ages? A cave was found that had a picture of the Earth painted on the wall, a picture of a view of the Earth that could only be seen from orbit. Where did this come from? A transistor was found inside of a rock that was millions of years old. If humans weren't around, how did it get there? Maybe there is proof that we have been around a lot longer that we realize, but we just can't be |
