SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory) Controversy
SOHO Satellite We are constantly launching space probes, as is the European Union's space program. Sometimes the two programs work together on a project. SOHO is one of those projects. NASA launched it and is responsible for receiving the data it sends back, using it's deep space receiving stations. I guess in the future people will look at these so called deep space receiving stations and laugh that they were even needed. I am sure that somewhere along the line, we will find much better ways of communicating that don't have such a time delay and require such large facilities, anyway, SOHO stands for the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. NASA launched the SOHO on December 2, 1995, but it didn't begin normal operations until May 1996. Some people say that it was snapping photos of objects that the governments didn't want people to know about and this continued until the online date. So what am I saying? I am saying that SOHO might have been on a secret mission and when that was finished, or at least curtailed, it was allowed to concentrate on the sun and send back public photos. SOHO was sent up with the idea that it would be only a two year mission, but like the Voyager and Mars rovers, it has far exceeded it's life expectancy. One fact that really bothers some people, is that the data is going directly to NASA first. It is especially annoying to those that believe that NASA filters objects out of photos that it doesn't want the public to see, before releasing them. This point has been brought up so many times that I can't even count these complaints anymore. The craft contains something called a Reaction Wheel. This is a sort of flywheel that allows the craft to change it's angular momentum, without having to use fuel. It came in very handy indeed, when the craft experienced an emergency and was almost lost. The Reaction Wheel was put into use and it stabilized the probe. The probe is now sitting near a spot called L1. That is where there is a balance between the gravity of the Earth and the pull of the Sun. The Sun only exerts about 2% more pull at this point and it can be compensated for. The SOHO satellite is not the only craft observing the sun, there are several others that are doing it also. While this satellite is described as being near L1, the truth is that it is very close to L1 and passes through it's orbit. If it were exactly at L1, radio communications would be interfered with by the Sun. The craft is said to emit a continuous data stream to Earth. When I first heard of the continuous data stream, I thought to myself that this satellite might pick up something interesting from time to time that had nothing to do with it's stated mission. Well it seems that I was right. Strange photos were being returned to earth from time to time. One has to realize that when you deal with NASA, you are going to get a lot of statements that are designed to cover up anything that they missed in the photos. I say missed because there are many cases where NASA photos have gotten out that were different than those posted on the various NASA websites. Sometimes, it is not very hard to see that there is something in the background or foreground that was taken out before the photo was posted. This is the problem with many of the moon photos. When you see all this stuff and then listen to excuses that NASA gives for things, even for the space shuttle explosions, you begin to realize that you are not ever going to get a straight answer from them on anything that has to do with strange objects in space or disasters, where the blame is being shifted. I think that one of the first things that a political hack learns is how to shift the blame to others for his or her actions. Sometimes these people are designated to accept the blame to cover for an even bigger person, such as the president, as was the case in the Challenger disaster. Anyway, look at the photo below, it was taken by SOHO and was the center of a lot of controversy.
Is This a UFO, NASA Says No? In case you think that the image above is "just one of those things", it is said that the SOHO satellite has now captured hundreds of images of ufos in photos. Here is one of the problems for NASA, they like to say things like the objects are only meteors or asteroids. This might be believable in some instances, except for the fact that these types of bodies do not make ninety degree turns and maneuver. NASA has chosen to ignore this fact. The photo above was called a camera fault by those at NASA. It turns out that a man living in Spain was able to get a lot of the photos from the SOHO satellite, because he had a satellite dish that was able to pick up the transmission from the satellite. These photos are mysteriously missing from the NASA and European Space Agency sites. One has to remember that strange objects are constantly being seen following the space shuttle, every time it is launched. No one ever talks about that at NASA. When we realize that, then it is not so strange that the SOHO satellite, that has been in space so many years, has managed to photograph some ufos. It seems that the space lanes in this solar system are actually pretty busy. There is a contention by Richard C. Hoagland and Michael Bara that the SOHO satellite was taken off line on purpose on Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at 7:16, EDT. It did go off line, there is no doubt about that. So why would anyone say that this was done on purpose? For weeks before this, the SOHO satellite had taken photos that were revolutionary and changed much scientific opinion. To get a better idea of what I am about to tell you, you probably would understand it better if you had read the book, Dark Mission by Hoagland and Bara, but I will try and explain it as best as I can. In the book, it was pointed out that many moon missions took place, when certain stars and planets were in certain positions over the landing sites or at the Giza Plateau in Egypt. The book stated that some people in NASA practiced secret rituals that dated back to ancient Egypt and these people were the Masons and they ran many of the missions. When the SOHO satellite went off line, it is said that it coincided with stars that indicate that the god Osiris, ancient Egyptian god of resurrection and the underworld, was in exactly the correct position. Another indication of foul play was said to be the fact that the planet Mars was directly over the Giza plateau. These were very strong indicators that the people at NASA, who believed in this ancient religion, according to the book, were at it again. They also state that a couple of months later, erroneous commands had been sent to the satellite on purpose to knock it out permanently, but while this disabled it, it was able to be repaired. Before all this happened, SOHO had been doing alright for over two years. The contention is that SOHO had been turned off for some unknown reason. The question is, what purpose would this have served? If this is true, it could have been to hide something that was going on from our view. What could this something have been? That is the question that has us all wondering. Perhaps it was to hide something that we were going to do in space, many say that we have an alternate space program run by the air force. Perhaps it was to hide alien activity? Maybe it was even to hide some sort of NASA activity that they didn't want us to know about? Could there have been a close call with a meteor that was averted? There are so many questions and so few answers. The meteor theory is held by a few people, who even go on to state that the real reason that Stonehenge was built was an early warning system to see meteors. I find this a little hard to believe, because what good would that have done, unless they were being worshipped? One thing that supposedly upset NASA was the fact that when two comets hit the sun, an enormous amount of energy was released in the form of solar flares. Objects of this size should have hit the sun and done nothing noticeable, when you consider their size and force, relative to the size of our star. NASA says that this is only a coincidence and the flares which resulted were not from the comets hitting the sun. This is the usual kind of excuse that they normally make. I am surprised that they didn't say that it was a camera malfunction. Below is a movie of this happening.
