I have often talked about the U.S. having a secret space program that is the real program for planet exploration and building bases. It is a very nebulous thing to get a hold of, I guess that is what happens when you make something so secret that most of the people in the government don't even know about it. Make no mistake, we are very good at keeping big secrets. Why is it that a lot of little secrets get out but, the really big and important ones never see the light of day? Could it be because everyone that knows about these secrets also knows what will happen to them and maybe even their families if they spill the beans? Before you think that I have flipped my lid, I want you to remember the threats that were made against different witnesses concerning ufo sightings, by the military and others. Do you remember the threat that went something like this, if you tell anyone about this, your bones will be bleached in the desert? That wasn't an exact quote, but I think that you get the point. That was what a witness at Roswell was supposedly told. Many witnesses have even had their families threatened and were told that not only do we know where you live, but where the rest of your family lives. If this isn't encouragement to keep a secret, I don't know what is. That is the reason that every once in a while a witness to a secret project or sighting will tell us about it while on their death bed. I guess they figure that by this time there is nothing that can be done to them. The problem is that usually many years have passed by then and the information might not be useful or impossible to verify since everyone else is dead.

Early NASA Space Plane Design

Getting back to the secret space program, it is said that a small space shuttle that had nothing to do with the shuttles that we see every day, was designed in 1986. It is rumored that a huge bomber that was designed in 1960 was built specifically to carry this small shuttle to an advantageous altitude for launch into space. The bomber was called the XB-70. The shuttle is said to be about the size of a SR-71 Blackbird. Speaking of the Blackbird, it may have been that when the SR-71 was being developed, enough was learned to make a new space plane feasible. When the SR-71 was being developed, ways had to be found to pressurize the cabin to at least 80,000 feet, the admitted ceiling of the aircraft, which might, by the way, be even higher. It was not such a big step to design a plane that could have a sufficient life support system, to support life in space. You may have heard about this project, it was called Aurora. It is still secret and has gotten confused because two planes are involved, the huge bomber and the smaller space plane. It is said that this system is way ahead of the shuttle system used at NASA. If you have not heard of the XB-70 bomber, you may have heard of it by its other name, the Valkyrie bomber. There are unconfirmed rumors that the Valkyrie bomber is a supersonic aircraft, but we have no way of knowing if this is true or not. There have been reports of unknown large planes flying at supersonic speeds, but they have not been identified.

Another NASA Space Plane Design

So what is going on here? Well there was a report that in 1977 a plane was developed by Lockheed that could maintain a speed of at least 6 times the speed of sound, or Mach 6. This puts the development of very fast planes much earlier than we have suspected, since NASA is talking about developing civilian planes that are powered by ramjets that will be capable of this speed in about 5 - 10 years. Are we being fooled, were we capable of extremely fast speeds 30 years ago and maybe even putting planes into orbit? If we are being kept in the dark about plane capabilities, why not an entire space program? It would be a shame however to think that billions of dollars were being spent on the NASA space program, just to keep us in the dark, wouldn't it? This leads us to another strange fact. The SR-71, this plane that still holds most of the world's speed records and has been retired for years and no replacement was ever designated for it. Why would we do this? Maybe we did it because we had a space plane and no longer needed it? It has been suggested that the air breathing scramjet engine could be fitted with liquid hydrogen tanks and thus be able to power a plane in space. If this is the case then a space plane could use its engines in space and maybe switch off the hydrogen when entering the Earth's atmosphere and use outside air.

An amateur astronomer claims that he observed a second type of space station that was only visible for a short time, not far from the International Space Station. We have been working on different methods for hiding things for many years. One method uses cameras behind an object and screens in front. The idea is that what is behind an object is projected on screens in front, thus effectively hiding the object. The second method, which has seen great advances in the last few years, is a method that actually bends light around an object, making it invisible. Would it be possible to hide an entire space station this way? You bet it would and the method that bends light is said to be able to also fool radar. We are getting good at sending objects into space and we are finding out that rockets are not the only method that can be used to do this. DARPA is working on something called the Slingatron. Slingatron is a device that is really a giant electronic sling shot. It uses a circular tube to build up velocity, then fires the object into space and into orbit. Using this, it will be possible to launch many objects into space in a short period of time and relatively cheaply, especially when compared to a shuttle launch. There were many different space planes being drawn up by the military in the past 50 years or so and maybe even before. Much interest was shown in some of them, but in the end it was always said that they were shelved. Could it be that not all of them really met their end? Think of it this way, why would the military all of a sudden lose interest in an advanced space plane, especially at a time when other countries are getting ready to enter space? I personally don't think that they would. What I think happened is that we deployed some of these things and we are up to maybe even the third generation of them by now. An example of what I am talking about is the two stage space plane that was said to be in secret development for over 16 years and was reported about by Aviation Week & Space Technology. The magazine claimed that that they were told by officers who should know that, "it is out there". The code name for the system was Blackstar. This is the same system referred to under Aurora.

Shuttle Being Moved

By now, the US military may have developed a one stage system for reaching orbit. There has been constant work on antigravity engines and who knows, we might even have one. Even if we don't, we may have the capability to get an aircraft up high with a conventional engine of some sort and then switch to an engine that is capable of powering a vehicle in space. It stands to reason that this program would not just stand still. Boeing has a patent on a system where a small space plane is dropped out of the belly of a fast larger plane at about Mach 3.3 or 3.3 times the speed of sound. This plane would then proceed into space on its own power. It is said that the military wanted assurances that it could get into space whenever it wanted and felt that the current shuttle system was not dependable. Even as far back as 1959 there was a system being considered called project DynaSoar. The idea was that a B-70 was going to carry the DynaSoar Glider with its liquid rocket booster and release it and it would fly into orbit. This was basically also a two stage launch system. According to some aviation experts, this basic system is what has been used for years in the secret space program. It makes sense since we have invested so much time and money in developing it. What doesn't make sense is continuing the expensive and dangerous civilian shuttle program. All these attempts over the years to develop a two step space launch vehicle have not gone unnoticed by other countries, so I doubt that any of them would be surprised to find out that we have such vehicles, therefore the only ones that are really being kept in the dark are us, as usual. It is said that when the Lockheed Skunk Works launched the X-33, one of the engineers stated, "they have history", leading others to believe that this was not the first time this type of system was tested. .

Russian Space Plane Design

Okay, what else can we find that may point to the fact that the US has a secret space program? It is not a definitive finding, but there is a black budget in excess of 2.3 trillion dollars. What could this much money possibly have bought us? It could have bought us a complete secret space program among other things. Some say that the secret space program is so secret that Congress knows nothing about it. The technology that the space shuttle uses is over 25 years old. This has to lead one to believe that there has to be better stuff out there. I believe that when the shuttle was designed we already had better things that were being kept secret. The shuttle is not very good technology and we didn't care if anyone copied it in the long run, because that would have put them way behind us in the race for space technology. Could we have gotten a secret mini shuttle as far back as 1992? That is the talk that is going around. If we did get this secret shuttle, it too would be old technology by now, about 15 years old. That is a lot of years in today's technologically advancing society. Looking at things this way, we just have to figure that we have already replaced that mini shuttle with something even more efficient.

Lastly there are also rumors that the secret American space program is not a secret American space program at all, but a secret European, American and Russian program that has vehicles, that service a secret space station that is always manned by Americans and Russians. It is said that the station has been in deep space orbit for over 30 years and a special diamond shaped vehicle was built to fly there and back and can do this a couple of times in a week. Apparently the station is not visible from Earth. If this is the case, who are we keeping this secret from, the Samoans and the U.S. public? I don't know, this just doesn't make any sense to me. I think that the evidence all points to the US having a secret Air Force Space Program that runs parallel to NASA's space program.
